Bayside Terrace, Pinellas Park FL

Place smells like pine sol and gave residents peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for Christmas dinner. So sad

I would give this place a negative 0 if I could! I was looking for a place for my loved one. I met the Director and marketing manager (gone 3 months later) who seemed very nice, they sold me on the place. Showed me a replica of the room like the one he would be in and it’s the 1st room when you step off the elevator so you really don’t see anything other than that room. Well turns out the place only looks good from the outside and the lobby. Once you get up on the floors it’s a whole different story. The rooms are filthy. This is a assistant living facility. I believe their definition of assistance is 0 assistance! My loved had the same cloths on from Saturday to I returned the following Saturday. He sat in filth every day. The room was so bad I started cleaning it myself including taking my own supplies. Laundry was included however it was never done unless I complained about it and then it was just washed all together and just balled up in a basket! Never put away or folded. There was a very bad bed bug investation and they did nothing until I started complaining. And there were plenty of roaches to boot. It was so bad I wouldnt even go upstairs while I looked for another facilty. The room was so filthy I wouldn’t let my dog stay there. Now lets get to the sorry staff from top to bottom. All of them are bad, there is a rollover at least every 4/5 months. The employees stole every piece of nice clothing including some very expensive jerseys that I took over. When I complained about it nothing happened. Even after I threaten to sue them, now they want respond to emails or messages being left so I have hired an attorney because I will not be ignored! WORD OF CAUTION DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS PLACE! IT IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS) I placed my loved one in a different facility in July and I couldn’t be more happier, his entire demeanor has changed, he is much happier. He’s clean, his room is cleaned daily, all of the staff engages with him daily, he eats properly and yes all clothing that I’ve taken there is still there. BAYSIDE TERRACE OF PINELLSAS PARK ON US19 N should be closed down, No human should be allowed to live in such filth! From a very angry person who will be posting this on every social platform every day until I’m tired of doing so! Next time I post I will include the nasty filthy photos of his room where you can literally see roaches in the pictures!

Wow! I visited Bayside today. What a great new feel. All the new renovations on this property are incredible. Love the brand new theater room!

Bayside Terrace, under new and caring management, is a clean vibrant home for our seniors.

My father has been here for less than a year. Previous management owes him close to $3,000 and avoid our emails, phone calls and complaint with the BBB. Administration is constantly changing, laundry isn't done, there have been days he's gone without dinner, I'm hearing there are bed bugs now and NO ONE returns phone calls. Currently looking for another option. Do not send your loved ones here!

I have a parent that lives there- they don’t clean the rooms like the contract says they do, my parent actually lives in filth because of this - There are also bed bugs in this place - most likely due to the fact that they don’t do cleaning like they should.
When you try to contact and leave messages for people that work there to get things done, they don’t respond.
I do not recommend this place.

Bayside Terrace in Pinellas Park when under to management of SeniorLiving owes me $875.00 Re: false charges I did not owe. I have the paperwork to prove it. A stream of changing management companies and Business Office managers kept promising to return these funds - of course I try to receive these monies which I consider is THEFT!
I made contact with the company’s Founder’s Administration Assistance who called Bayside and directed I have my funds returned, as has been this awful facilities known history: they lie, they steal, they break their promises: “oh! Ms Given’s I’ll have a check going out to you next week” - and it is never sent, then since I left Bayside there has been 3 other Business Office Managers who came and went. ALF’s stealing from residents seems to be a common concern here I Florida. This Past weekend brought arrests of employees who were stealing residents drivers lic, ID’s, Medicare info etc and stole a confirmed 14K from residents. I need that $875.00! Shame on you all!

Update: I decided to call the person in charge of the medical staff again and she answered. We had a good conversation and she was very nice and seemed to be helpful. She didn't comment when I asked her why the executive director never called. Anyway, I'm changing my stars from 1 to 3.

I've been trying to get the executive director or the nurse in charge to call me back. I've also emailed the nurse with no response. I am the POA for my ex husband and need for them to communicate with me. It leaves me to wonder what's really going on there. The good news, my ex is mostly happy there but complains about not getting to see the doctor.
