I WAS a dental phobe until I met the whole staff of BayView Dental.
They immediately put me at ease being professional & detailed yet caring! Dr Silva explained my issues with encouragement & tact!
His team made a reasonable plan I could agree with. No intimidation or coercion! This was my best ever dental-experience!

I just love my new dentist. A very caring dentist and their staff is great also. Enya was my dental hygienist and she was very nice and gave me lots of great information.
I came here after having a poor experience with another dentist who wanted to give me three crowns also maybe a fourth and give me more work and services than what I needed. Here they took x-rays they did a full examination did a cleaning and that was it. The other dentist office wanted to set me up on a treatment plan that was going to cost me over $5,000. This dentist is honest and I feel very comfortable with him.

My visit was great, everybody was very informative and made feel like I had been coming there for years. I felt at ease and looking forward to my next appt. Excellent service.

Front lady was great getting my insurance approved rate away. The Dr explained everything well about my dentures and the relined my old ones, so I can speak and eat. Ty the whole staff! So friendly people!

This was my first time back since my last 6 month check and the whole office has changed maybe for the better. I had a good experience with the dentist but had a little problem with the hygienist taking X-ray as I have a big tori. Overall it was a good experience.

This was my first visit after learning my old dentist doesn’t accept Medicare. The folks I met here were kind, welcoming and efficient. I found my new dentist.

I had not been to dentist in years because I dislike all dental procedures. Everyone in this office is so nice, they make me feel so so relaxed. They have comforts I’ve never seen, dark glasses, tv, and no spit sink needed, Then I broke a tooth and they took me same day I called. Now my teeth feel wonderful, everyone there has a great attitude and personality! Thanks, you are the best, Christine

I broke a tooth and the staff did a wonderful job fixing it and putting a crown on. HOWEVER.

Despite the fact I had dental insurance, I was required to pay the full amount of the procedure UP FRONT before they would begin fixing the tooth. I paid because I needed to get it fixed.

Less than a week after I had the procedure, I received an EOB (Explanation of Benefits) from my insurance provider saying that I was responsible for about only HALF of what I paid. We brought that to the attention of BayView and they said they would refund the amount when THEY received the EOB.

Now MORE THAN A MONTH LATER, I have received NO REFUND and I have to PAY INTEREST on my credit card. We have talked to them on the phone AND in person. NO HELP WHAT-SO-EVER! Seems they only care about the almighty dollar.

The doctor and staff did great work, so its a great place to go for competent and quality care, if you don’t mind paying in advance and waiting for who knows how long before they reimburse you for overpayment. Keep that in mind before choosing them.

Everyone in this office made me feel comfortable and safe. It's the first time I've ever left a dentist without feeling embarrassed or like I just went through a sales pitch. They worked as a great team that really is concerned with me getting my smile back.
