bb's restaurant and bar, Jacksonville FL

It’s been almost five years since I’ve eaten at bb’s and I wondered why I hadn’t been back sooner. Had the pleasure of sampling some appetizers last night and happy to report that they were spot on. The duck wontons is a beautiful layer of deconstructed wontons drizzled with a delicious sweet yet savory sauce. The jambalaya pizza is something I never knew I needed in my life. Beautifully cooked shrimp atop a layer of cheese, with sausage and chicken hidden underneath. Man why haven’t I thought of this earlier? ! But the star? The bread pudding. This is hands down one of the best deserts I’ve ever eaten in my life. I cannot wait to go back!

Everything thing I order was absolutely excellent it took a while for my food but definitely worth the wait.will be back!

We go their early for happy hour. The bar service was very good. Our dinner and service was excellent! Great evening! Perfect place for casual yet refined dining.

Went here randomly, was very happy to be able to make a reservation under an hour from my call, we were seated fast when we got there, all the staff is lovely.:)
The food, while expensive, was very good! We had an issue of a few of our dishes being a tad over seasoned, the only problem one being the kid's salmon being too spicy, but our lovely server Ashlynn relayed that to the kitchen which was appreciated.
Ashlynn was a delight, she was a very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable server! Her recommendations were also spot on, the Calimari Ceasar, oh MY! <3 She was also very kind while working around my daughter in her high chair which we tried keeping out of the way as much as possible.
The atmosphere and decor are lovely! Absolutely great spot for a relaxing dinner, and while it's kid friendly where they do offer high chairs and kids options, the pathing between tables is a bit cramped, so while it's totally doable, I would prefer going back when we don't need a high chair, more ideally a child that can walk.
So, a 4 star for the food just because I'm hoping the over seasoning was just an off day thing, but I would definitely come back to give it another try, and the service absolutely makes up for it! Thank you so much for a lovely dinner, Ashlynn! <3

They need to get rid of the guy at the door wearing the mask. No one should have to decipher mumbled words on entry.

Food was good. Waitress was on point. Place was very loud and busy. Needs some sound absorbers.

My go to anytime! Everything is great and since it's 5min from home with great food, drinks, and dessert, you just can't beat them. I've never had a bad experience!

Wonderful place! Great for date night or Sunday brunch. The food is excellent and service is above and beyond. They noticed I went to my car for a jacket, so the manager came over and told me he bumped up the ac. I hadn't complained. It was nice that they noticed. Great attention to detail

Amazing! From the atmosphere to the service to the food! I can't say enough positive things about BB's! We had the brussel sprouts (enough to feed 10 people), calamari with curry sauce (yum!), and the 5-spice duck breast with blackberry bourbon sauce (triple yum!). Great smoked old fashioned as well! We were so full, there was no room to try the impressive looking desserts, but we will be back!

This is a really nice restaurant. It has a very intimate feel. Great place for a date. And the surf and turf was amazing! That was one of the best ribeyes I ever ate. It comes with shrimp, vegetables, and mashed potatoes. The flavor palate is off the charts. If you're looking for a steak in Jacksonville I'm not sure if you could find a better one.

Bb's is amazing. I am a foodie and have been all over jax.this place is close to home and the food is amazing the Duck wonton is Ridiculous.the Pork chop is also one of the best. Great atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. Chris is one of the best waiters in the game. Kudos to the Ownership for great experiences.

We had a great time at bbs restaurant. We had brunch and it was delicious. I would recommend their brunch.

I had the scallops, which were delicious, tender, and perfectly cooked. The fondant potatoes were full of flavor and tender. I also tried the bread pudding, which is delicious paired with the ice cream. The rum cake is on the sweeter side, and was a little too sweet for me, but really flavorful. Also, last but definitely not least, the service was above and beyond. Our waitress was super attentive and totally on top of everything. She really made dining a pleasant experience.

A restaurant that I come to every time I go on a business trip! The food is clean and tasty. I wish you were a little more kind. The food is satisfactory for the price. I have to come again next week

Great food at one of Jacksonville's best local spots! My wife took me here for father's day and they did not disappoint!

My first visit to BB's was definitely not my last. Me and a group of HUD officials enjoyed a great meal and dessert. The customers were friendly and a really nice lady was celebrating her 85th birthday! This is my kind of place.
