Beach Diner Mandarin, Jacksonville FL

Brought some guests from out of town for breakfast we all enjoyed our meal conversation and atmosphere

We got two of the breakfast specials, and a breakfast burrito. I didn’t care for the strawberry cream cheese french toast, but my boyfriend did. We both loved the croissant, we just with the side of bacon had more bacon. One of the owners was walking around and checked on us, and every other table in the restaurant. We really liked this place. We just didn’t see our server very often. Over all it was great!

You can always tell when a business has a good leader. It boils over on everyone else. Mike leads by example.
Hats off to Shannon for her consistent sunshine. The food is spectacular! I’m working my way through the menu & enjoying every bite.

Pretty good experience. Food was good. Service was okay. Nothing exceptional. I would return if it was close but wouldn't go out of my way. The poached egg was indeed perfectly poached.

Always a good place to eat. Enjoy when the staff has a mi item to sit and chat. Very welcoming.

I don't know what Americans fascination is with these boring, overpriced, plain-Jane, zero atmosphere breakfast places? Silverware rolled into a paper napkin and not even flavored creamers. Let's also not forget the infamous outdoor seating looking out into the cement wonderland we call a parking lot, not to mention the astonishing view of San Jose Blvd traffic to add to the merriment of the occasion. We had two regular breakfast entres, a kids meal breakfast, three coffees and with a 15% tip, the bill was over $50 - do the math on that one - 3 people, for breakfast!

Stopped here on Saturday, July 8. Had been out doing rummage sailing and got hungry and stopped here for breakfast. Our server was Shannon and I remember that name because that is my maiden name. She was absolutely terrific and the food was yummy. We love all Beach Diners. We have been to all of them around the area.

I though it would be better. It just wasn’t, I wanted it to be. Coffee was good though, food …. No! Not sure who rated them the best or maybe I just had a bad batch of bad food and bad service…. Not coming back for sure.

Bright and welcoming, this is just the place for a relaxing brunch! We visited on a Thursday and there was no crowd and no wait. The food was real comfort food. Prices were great. I will make sure to stop in again on my next visit too Jacksonville.

One of the better breakfast places in town. Go hungry. The portions are large. Highly recommend the corn beef hash or pork chop plates. For real southerners fish and grits!

This place is a gem. That old diner feel with a beachy look. The food was really good and the price was very reasonable. Breakfast special was my choice for the morning. Wait staff was responsive and kind. Will be back for more.

Being open at 6am is great, we walked in and had a seat, with in 5 mins we had drinks food and the check. The staff checked on us multiple times. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection.

Great food, super nice customer service, and the best part is talking to owner and sharing his life experiences. What a treat! He is a gentleman!
