Beach Tower By The Sea, Panama City Beach FL

Pros - The view is amazing, you can’t get any better than it. The room and bathroom are both a good size, there was plenty of room for my family and I. The AC runs great and very cold. And the staff were all SO incredible and friendly to us! When we called to inform them we would be there within the hour, there was a mishap with booking. Apparently our reservation was cancelled for some reason, but the receptionist fixed it right away and a room was ready for us for when we arrived.

Cons - The pictures on the website of the room are definitely deceiving. There really needs to be some updating and fixing up some of the rust, marks and dents all over the place. The water pressure is not good in the shower. And there is a slight musty smell in the room. The complimentary breakfast is just drinks, cereal and pastries. And the mini cooler keeping the milk cold definitely needs fixed or replaced.

This is a bargain resort. You get what you pay for.

Not impressed. No hand soap in room dispenser. Room had a small kitchen, with a cracked microwave door, toaster barely worked, horrible selection of utensils, NO table or chairs even though there was space. On Wed.front desk calls my cell for me to move my car so the motorcycles could have the spot. Beach view was awesome, breakfast okay, staff no very friendly. We will not stay hear again.

Hear me out. I’ve lived here and I’ve visited here for years. I’ve booked Airbnb’s that were luxurious and Airbnb’s that were regular or price friendly. Stop. Don’t bother. Stop wasting money if you’re going to be on the beach 60% of the time. Stay here. This place is clean! I watched them Reno after Michael and in 2020 they replaced EVERYTHING. The cleaning staff here is not only absolutely precious and sweet but they are GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO! Same for maintenance. The TVs are small, the sink space is small, the balcony is small, you can’t slide a door and listen to the ocean (you can prop it though) BUT I would take those things any day over a disgusting hardly cleaned Airbnb where they’re charging me $300 for a repulsively dirty unit that you still have to clean before leaving ‍️ This place has everything you could need and the staff is nice. This is coming from a former resident and someone who has stayed at many condos in this area and even had family renovate MANY condos in this area. To add, every time we stay we wind up having to stay longer or just wanting to and when we run out of our stupidly overpriced condo stay we come here and enjoy a last night or two. Loooove it!

If you're looking for a bargain hotel/ resort on the beach then this place is perfect. (We didn't really consider $150 a night a bargain.) It's right on the beach/ ocean with a fantastic view. Every room has a kitchenette and a balcony.

The room was clean though not in the best condition. If you're just looking for a base camp on the beach this resort may be perfect. The hotel looked like it catered to college kids looking for a cheap place on the beach, if that's what you're expecting you'll be happy here.

Room was disgusting! Bathroom was disgusting! They had to move us to a different hotel. Front desk lady was very kind and the view was great! The online pictures are deceiving.

It's a bargain hotel, right on the beach. If you're trying to save some money, it will definitely suffice. There's a little kitchen and rooms/beds were separated. Its within walking distance to many restaurants and the pier. If your trying to be bad n boujee, this ain't the spot for you, no luxuries here.

Location! The hotel is small but everything is very clean, quiet environment, good service and close to everything. The hotel is right on the beachfront!

2 beds with kitchen (dishes, pans etc) & bathroom in between. Balcony with white sand beach & gulf view.
Surprisingly quiet
Breakfast included with bagels, pastry's, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, coffee & juice.
Short distance to area attractions, shopping & dining.

The rooms are super clean. We are within steps from the beach. Convenient parking. This will be our place whenever we're in Panama City Beach ️

I'm very excited to say that this weeklong stay was fantastic. Everything was clean, well presented and just all around amazing!

When we arrived there was a problem with the lady entering my card information to pay for the room. I received a notification from my bank that my card had been declined due to incorrect expiration date, the lady refused to admit she might be in the wrong so I had to go get cash from an atm at 4am. The elevator felt scary and there was an inappropriate drawing on the inside of the door. Upon entering the room we noticed rust all over the fridge. The kitchen had a smell when you opened the cabinets. The sheets and bed skirt were stained all over. The mattress was so uncomfortable you could feel the springs in it. The carpets also felt wet. The last string for us was that the doors did not seal or latch all the way. For us this was a safety concern so we left and are out $480. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Older beach side hotel with nice rooms that were very clean. Do not judge it by the exterior because you will be pleasantly surprised by the rooms. The have a very nice & accommodating staff

To be honest, this place is old, slightly run-down, and seriously in need of a remodel. With that being said, it is right on the beach, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, everything functioned, and the AC was extremely cold. What more do you need on the beach.

Do not stay here. I was severely disappointed after checking in. The ac did not work the wifi does not work so the time I needed to work I could not I was told to come to the lobby and it still does not work. I asked for a refund for the rest of my stay and I was told they do give refunds. So I'm never staying here again and my company will no longer use this hotel. The staff we nice but that's about it. Do not stay here it's not worth the hassle.

I would love to give this Ole girl of a hotel 5 stars but I can't because our check in time was 4 and when we got there at 4,
they said our room wasn't ready and they would call me when it was. We waited out in the parking for the call. Two and a half hours later we finally got our room but by then our early evening beach sitting and watching the sun set was gone. We are only here for 2 nights and as far as I'm concerned one night ruined.

Me, my niece and nephew arrived, had a great time. However, the girl at the front desk charged me twice for my room.
She contacted the manager, Fab. While I was there he assured me it was fixed. You know the common spill. If you have any problems let me know. With it being the weekend the bank was closed, so once home I realized it wasn't fixed. One month later, now that I'm home, I can't get Fab to reach out to me. Messages, voice mail and emails all being ignored. So beware if you pay debit or credit, because once you get home, they don't care. Also, the parking is bad. You have to park at the hotel next door and walk to your hotel and that doesn't allow you to see your car. Good luck
