Beaches Branch Library reviews
9I love that the kids section is a separate wing from the adult section. It not as easy for them to run off and attract a ton of attention. There is a fun interactive section with magnetic toys, shapes, face making and more. There is a wide selection of toddler books, more then the average library. The story time at the park is awesome. We love the gentleman that performs each week, he is amazing with the kids.
I find the staff very help with computers and finding whatever your looking for in the library.
Very helpful staff in a modern facility. Only improvement I'd wish for - BluRay rather than DVD discs.
I love bringing my grandson here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. He enjoyed the scavenger hunt for the first time recently. We have been to many libraries in Jacksonville, but this one is closest to his home. He is starting to be more excited about books, which is so important in a world dominated by computers. Thanks for keeping it interesting!
A library is still a place where customer service should be adhered to. I went to this library Wednesday and saw that the janitor was creating more noise than they would allow a patron to make. I heard her through my headphones and I told her so. She became indignant after I let her know she was being disruptive. After she told staff what I said the library staff proceeded to make more noise around where I was sitting. You represent that library even if you don’t work for them. If you choose to get the staff involved due to your lack of customer service it’s pretty clear the library is more worried about bullying those who speak up against someone being disruptive. They kept choosing to be disruptive as well. I had a hard time with a project I was working on and the added noise just made me that more frustrated. If you’re not aware that customer service is in every job stop doing said job and quit. You’re not serving the public you’re serving yourself and that’s why you’re in a service job because you haven’t learned to Provide good customer service
This library was 2nd-to-none! Staff assistance was awesome.
They even took the care to clean/sanitize every station between each partron. Great teamwork!
First visit to 3rd street barber shop was amazing. Totally recommend! She's a master in her craft, she's the sculptor and you're the sculptee
Only had the best experience at this branch. Before Covid I could browse the stacks to pick out what I wanted to read. Now I look online and place books on hold for pickup. The staff is friendly and efficient and making the best of a difficult situation. Can't wait for library to reopen.
What a wonderful public asset!
THey even have geat programming like movies and their popular annual Harry Potter Birthday party with costume competitions and lots of fun things for kids of all ages
