Beachwalk Condominiums, Panama City FL

This place was not a very good place to AirBNB. Has cockroaches, needs a good exterminator, and / or renovated.

A really nice subdivision on Panama City Beach. The unit we had was a 2 bed 2 bath townhouse. Very clean and safe.

Booked through Vacasa and stayed at beachwalk 14F. If I could give 0 stars I would. The floors were dirty, there was an infestation of caterpillars and roaches, the TVs do not work, shower downstairs does not work, dryer does not get hot. We paid for all of these accommodations and didn’t get any. We had to leave a day early due to the big infestation on the floors, in the sinks and shower upstairs. We called multiple times with promises of hearing back from property manager “Ashley” or “April” and never heard back from anyone. I even emailed my complaint photos to Ceaser Gonzalez with no response.

A man shows up claiming to be maintenance to fix a laundry room door but there wasn’t a door on the frame to begin with. We inform him this and he insisted on coming in and going upstairs to take a picture to send to property manager. He had no uniform, no identification and wouldn’t take no as an answer.

A few more things to add: the beach is a LONG 15 minute walk. Not 6. And that is to the beach sidewalk - you have to cross the busy rd.

All the blinds are broken and there is no privacy in the evening.

The back porch area was COVERED in cigarette buds and fishing wire. The screen for the sliding door was ripped off and laying on the ground.

The upstairs sliding door DOES NOT LOCK and is easily accessible from the ground.

Booked through Vacasa, there was a roach infestation in the house. They did not address it until the end of my stay. The couches, carpets and walls were filthy. We had to cover everything with bedsheets in order to have somewhere to sit. This was not addressed to the end of my stay. The only reason they addressed it was because I filed a complaint with the health department. They refused to move us to another unit. They ignored my concerns from check-in and said "we are experiencing high call volumes" every single day. AVOID THIS PLACE AND COMPANY. The thermostat would not go below 70 during record high heat. The bathtubs would not drain because they were clogged and we had to shower in a puddle of dirty water. We found a used band-aid in the bathroom by the trash bin. I cannot make this up. Run down roach motel.

We rented this air bnb for 6 nights. We are from Ohio, and traveled many miles to get to Panama City. We stayed in 14B. Upon arrival this unit was very unclean. Peeled empty wrappers under the loveseat and the bed. A smashed insect was in the puzzle box where my grandkids was trying to enjoy a puzzle. As one of the amenities they was suppose to have a bridge that was a 10 minute walk from the beach. It was being worked on until the day before we departed. I warn those of you looking at this place to stay. You will be very dissatisfied.

We stayed at 4c, keep in mind these are private units and I guess for the review I read, not everyone is keeping the up with updates. This specific unit was clean, spacious and, and well stock with dishes, pots and pans for cooking. They provided towels, but we brought our own. There was not cable TV, since the TV was a smart TV, but the internet was very slow. The owner provided codes for the pool and the beach access gate, but they were not needed, nothing was locked. The beach access gate, the pad coming from the beach was working, but the one going out was broken, so it could be reached through the bars and opened without a code. It is a very quiet are and the pool was nice and clean. I did not rented this unit through a vacation rental property management, but through Airbnb.

Calm, clean, and quiet. Staff is normal also haha. Not overly uptight or rude. Good customer service
