Beanie's Bar & Sports Grill, Ruskin FL

With so many places to try, it can be a real challenge getting to them all.

Sad to say that we have driven by this place for the past 4 1/2 years and just now found the time to make the visit.

No we are regretting the times we passed by! This is one of those gems that fits the area perfectly.

Nice facility, friendly staff, and a pretty darn good menu selection of pub foods and other specialties.

I opted for the Beanie's Beef as it was a slightly cooler than normal day and I have a thing for Chicago style Italian Beef sammies. I have to say, Beanies does a darn good job on it. Plenty of nicely seasoned beef and sweet peppers. Had onions added to mine. They serve the Au Jus on the side (piping hot too). And I also got some Giardinera for a little spice up. Good fries too!

My other half got some chicken tenders that were simply perfect. Lightly breaded and very well seasoned. Those baked beans were awesome too.

Cuz went with the Shrimp baguette sammie and was also perfectly made.

So, it it is safe to say that Beanie's passed the test and we will be back, alot.

Best Ruben this side of Florida. We are from CT, so we think we have lots of good Irish Pubs that serve delicious Rubins to compare to. Beanie's came very close to bringing me back home. Only thing I would change. The WHITE Thousand Island dressing.we are used to the Pink tangy Thousand Island taste.

Everything I've got here has been great. But the loaded chips with ranch dressing is outstanding. And the service is almost always great.

Family owned sports bar. Good food reasonably priced. Menu has a variety from seafood to pub grub.

Nice service and crew. Good prices.
Clean and big portion. Just loud and chicken parmesan had too much sauce and I don't like red sauce other than that it is great.

Buergers are pretty good, waitress are friendly and their serviceis good aswell. You must try their jalapeño torts, they are so good. Plus they make their own potato chips which are excellent.

Went to dinner with our friends who are regulars and when we do it's Beanies every time for an enjoyable dinner. Great food, great service, friendly staff

Always good food and happy environment better than Beef O Brady's for sure no attitudes here waitresses are very nice

I've been going to Beanie's ever since I moved up from Miami in 2005, and with all the different restaurants I've visited, even from other countries, none have been able to top Beanie's​ chicken wings.

Ordered the patty melt and Rueben for take out and it was awesome. Both sandwiches canes with loads of steak fries. Definitely will order again. Reminded me of being back home in Chicago.

Typical sports bar! Food is very good. Service is lacking. Seating area is crowded. Prices r good n portions r too! Ok place but nothing 2 write home about.

We have been going to Beanies for years, have always have good service, good food and a good time. Our bartender Natalie is always 100% top notch friendly and attentive I can't say enough great things about her. If you haven't gone to Beanies you need to go and try it.

Really cool little place. I had the Italian Beef. Just as good, if not better, as in Chicago. The au jois was amazing, rich but not too salty. Definitely recommend.

I don't give 5 stars easy. Our waitress Gabby was a sweetheart and very attentive. We ordered burgers all cooked perfectly and 3 burgers with sides was only $40 AND we got there at about 5: 30, seated with no waiting

When we moved from the Ruskin area 10 years ago I knew we were going to miss Beanies. We returned last month to visit friends, and Beanies hasn't changed except for relocating the front door. And yes, I can still hear angels singing. In all the Rubens I've had in my life (and it's been a rather lengthy one) the only one better came from Katz deli in NYC. Pair it with their house-made potato chips and you'll be transported to a place of perfection, satisfaction, and joy. We took an order of chips with us to enjoy later, but it wasn't much later! Beanies, thanks for staying the course, providing good service, and giving us a meal to look forward to!

Ordered food to go. Was busy on a sat around 5: 30.

We love this place and get take out once or twice a week. Great food, especially for the money!
