Bear's Food Shack, Lake Worth Beach FL

Excellent environment, very cool and smooth coffee. I was able to sample the new Avacado smoothie, it requires you sit down outside and relax to enjoy at it's best. The staff is very polite and friendly. While you are in the area, definitely make sure you put this on your itinerary or you will miss out on a good thing.

I really love Bear's Food Shack and would give 5 stars but for the fact that they are open for indoor dining during this time of COVID-19 and the developing vaccine resistant mu variant. The staff ARE all masked!

Bear's Food is all fresh, generally organic/non GMO, etc. Everything is superbly fresh and made to order.

My favorite is the acai Moku bowl. I devoured it before even thinking of snapping a pic.colorful and lovely even in a to-go container!

Almost missed it when I first went because it's a modest little restaurant off the Ave. The food is wholesome, fresh, and reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly. Thank you for supporting your local first responders!

This is one of my favorite places to go on Sundays. They have great keto tacos or just regular tacos. The mahi mahi tacos are to die for.

Bear's was a very pleasant surprise! I drove by it many times and wish that I had tried it much sooner. You can't help but notice the giant stuffed bears placed outside the restaurant. While "shack" does describe the small inside of the restaurant, there is plenty of outside seating. The breakfast burrito was fresh, well made and very tasty. The peanut butter smoothie complemented the meal and tasted great. Bear's food, staff, and overall cool vibe is definitely something you want to experience. I am looking forward to trying the rest of their menu.

REALLY bad coffee.
I ordered a few shots of espresso and got back light brown tasteless water. It had the transparency of iced tea. Only iced tea actually tastes like something. I asked about it and it turns out they do not use an actual espresso machine with freshly ground beans, but filter pods. Which explains the substandard pseudo-coffee. The latte my gf ordered was no better. If I sound cranky it because I havent had my coffee yet.

Great food with good value. Intense surfer/beach vibes around here. It is a little place with lots of soul. I would arrive here a bit earlier than rush hour since there will be a line formed very quickly cause the food is so good!

The most amazing breakfast wraps ever. Jeuvos rancheros - add avacado, sweet potato, and a sode of the cilantro aoli, thank me later and thank you Cole! Best Bears team member ever!

Food was very delicious. Not a lot of seating inside but found some shade outside and it wasn't too bad. Nice little hidden gem.

My son prefers chicken nuggets and fries. He ordered an acai bowl and loved it. We both loved it! The place looks a bit sketchy outside, but I' glad we tried it.

I ordered a smoothie and an iced cappuccino, waited 25 minutes before it was ready. I watched other customers order food and coffees and get their orders before me. The girl making the coffee was not trained properly and had no idea what she was doing. I could not even drink the coffee, it tasted burnt and had to throw it away. I will never visit this restaurant again.

Awesome food with some crazy unique combinations that go together really well. Really like the culture and environment of this place!

Great spot with a healthy menu. My only gripe was parking but that's to be expected at a place so good. I got my father a Cuban sandwich with an acai bowl; he tore up the acai bowl.

As an avid customer of Bears, I just left with extreme disappointment with the staff. I ordered the breakfast tacos with the Keto shells instead of the flour shells. (I always order this) Was told they were “too busy” to make the Keto shells. Nothing was on the grill being made, the chef was taking a coffee break- and I’ve seen it MUCH busier in there when ordering this off the menu. Imagine going into a busy restaurant, ordering off the menu, and being told “we are too busy to make that steak for you” I cancelled the order. If you don’t want to make something- take it off the menu.

A positive- Açaí bowls and smoothies are good, as always.

Loved it, loved it! I couldn't believe actually their were stuff bears outside location, location the best! Food and smoothie GREAT! Definitely will go again and would travel from Hollywood, fl.

I have wanted to stop by Bears Food shack for a long time and my boys and I finally had a chance to do it. Our lunch was great and I really appreciated that they had a kids menu. Sometimes it can be hard to find a place that satisfies kids and is a fun and interesting place to eat. I had a very yummy pulled pork and grilled cheese sandwich. There’s tons of atmosphere at Bears Food shack and our lunch was great and the wait time was completely reasonable for how busy they were. We will definitely be going back!

If Trader Joe’s ever opened a restaurant this would be it! Chill beach vibes, great parking (as opposed to the main restaurant strip of Atlantic Avenue near Pineapple Grove). Coffee was meh, but they do get points for having organic agave and almond milk as options on the self serve counter. Terri-Sun Bowl was packed with meat and veggies and topped with jammy eggs- but it was a tad too salty and drowned out the other flavors, like sesame oil. Kona bowl was delicious and worth the money, although it wouldn’t hurt to get a few more shrimps. Staff was decent but not the friendliest- basically were rushing us through the order and any questions about the menu felt like we were bothering them. The table was sticky - not sure if that was just a one off but cleanliness could be improved. It’s portrayed as a healthy place, so it might be nice to have nutritional facts readily available. All in all, I would recommend this place.
