Bedrock Church Sarasota

I recently moved here from out of state and was recommended to go here by a close friend. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, which made the first visit really pleasant. Pastor Blake came up and introduced himself to me. This isn’t a small church, but I definitely feel like this is a real community with real people who love each other and wholeheartedly pursue God. Excited to get to know everyone!

Very welcoming church. Worship was really good and Pastor preaching was easy, and clean to understand. It felt good to be there.

Bedrock Sarasota is a God centered, biblically based, family friendly church. If you are looking to grow in your faith, and truly be cared for this is the place. Hope to see you this weekend.

Great place, the people are great, Pastor Blake is awesome and preaches the Bible so you are able to understand everything. Bedrock Church is my new home Church its Awesome.

Pastor Blake is an exceptional communicator. He teaches with passion and accuracy, challenging hearers to understand and apply the Word of God to their lives daily.

They put God’s words into action. “Love your neighbor as you love yourself. ” You’ll see it and feel it at BedRock.

Bedrock Church is a great community of believers who want to grow and serve and help point others to the cross. We enjoy the well thought out worship and the strong biblical teaching and preaching each service. There are many opportunities to be involved and use your gifts and talents for the Lord. Bedrock also is truly striving to be a light to the community it is a part of and is a very welcoming place to worship.

Opening arms when you walk in and nothing but love is shown and speaks to you directly with the message and people having 1 on 1 conversations with Pastor Blake and him making sure not one person being left out. A great community and environment to be around with the energy being something else.

I have never felt more at home or more loved than I have since attending Bedrock. The teaching is straight out of the Bible and seems to be exactly what I needed each week. It's also great to have to option to watch online. I am happy
to say I have finally found a home.

Serious & doctrine sound teaching along with modern singing and praise. People here care and give. I felt welcome from day one. The pastor is down to earth with a love for Jesus and a mission to spread the good news and to help those in need.

This church is home to me. I feel safe here. My son and I are blessed to worship here and be part of the Bedrock family!

Bedrock is a wonderful church with strong Biblical teaching, great worship and super nice people. Pastor Blake has such an approachable, authentic and genuine style but doesn’t water down the truth of the gospel and expresses the great hope we have on the cross. He has great knowledge of the Bible but isn’t too preachy and talks so much about how the all of it impacts our lives. He makes it much more relevant to what’s happening today and we really have not found this kind of spot on teaching at any other church we attended in Sarasota. The worship style is engaging but not too much of a “show”. Thankfully, no strobe lights or massive performances on stage.

This church has really made me feel welcome and like family. It helped me get over my church hurt from past experiences and I am very thankful to have found Bedrock.

Bedrock is one of the best I’ve seen, experienced and now a part of when building community. From the day we walked in our family has been welcomed with open arms. Blake is one of the best I heard when communicating the gospel. The way he breaks it down, brings a story line and then at the end, brings it all together with nexts steps to grow in your faith. The worship is an experience that really ushers in the Holy Spirit to move the way it needs to.

If your looking for a community of believers who are like minded, growing in there faith and just want to “do life together” Bedrocks your place. Thank you guys for what you do!

Bedrock is my Florida home church. Pastor Blake is a phenomenal teaching pastor that challenges your faith to grow. The worship music is amazing. Cody Davenport has a singing voice that pierces the soul and readies your heart for worship and teaching. Interestingly enough, He used to be part of a band Named FlipDog. It was a very popular Midwest Christian fusion rock band in the early to mid 2000’s. Mostly covers. But really solid in the summer camp circuits. Anyway, BedRock church is really amazing. FlipDog.
