Facility might be a little old but the staff is attentive and kind. I have a family member here and I love all the little events they have for all of the residents.

I have been trying to call this place for the past 2 days with no luck! What's really going on? The phone half way rings and then it's busy. I can't even check on my loved one!

Jennifer in admissions was very helpful. Jeff, Karin, Chili, Tyler, Johnathan in therapy is nice. The 2 receptionist are pleasant. I like the CNAs on my floor and the unit manager Katherine. The dietary staff Katrina was patient with my orders.

The staff here are there for me all the time and helped me through my hardest times. Jennifer, Hazel, Melanie and Kelly are a big help to me. I like that I get to stay in the same room with my husband.

My dad was in the care of Bedrock’s short-term rehab services in Winter Park during this summer. On a public forum, I would like to thank those at Bedrock who took a special interest in my dad’s care. Those that particularly stood out are below (I hope I didn’t forget anyone). My father was very sick, and needed a lot of care.
Mary (CNA) – Mary is so passionate about what she does that she actually teared up explaining why she decided to do her line of work. She explained that many of the elderly people that she takes care of have been taking care of others their whole lives, and the care she provides is so personal. She thought it was a beautiful thing to do for people who have been helping their own families until they couldn’t anymore. She and my dad bonded over a shared heritage, and he really enjoyed her company. Mary was also great about making sure my dad was comfortable and also the little things like keeping his skin moisturized.
Raven (Therapist) – Raven did as much as she could to work with my dad to do any therapy he was capable of doing. She genuinely cared about my dad and if she had time would even sit with him to keep him company. Our family really liked her positive attitude and energy.
Jeff (Director of Rehab Services) – Jeff really took his time with my dad and was just painstaking and considerate in helping him eat as our family would have been. Jeff is extremely respectful, kind, and knowledgeable. He obviously cares about the patients that he serves.
Ashley (Charge Nurse) – As I mentioned, my father was very ill and Ashley understood how important her accessibility was. She made the time needed when we needed to have discussions and ask questions. More importantly, she took swift action if needed. Even if not physically in the building, she was easy to reach. My mother really appreciated her as well.

Great attentive care with a daily calendar of activities, including social events. The meals arent bad either.

I went to see a friend there today. I checked in and was given a room number, I walked into the room because the door was open and his name was on the wall, after a few minutes I stepped out to ask the nurse some questions. I was then directed to the front, after coming back they told me I need to wear a mask my friend had covid! Why was I not told before going into the room the first time? They told me there was a sign on the door that was opened! You think they would notify you as soon as you checked it! Makes you wonder if the patients are receiving the proper care.

My experience is absolutely great. All my CNAs have been soo caring. I came here because of Degenerative Disk Disease And had to relearn how to take care of myself and learn life as a wheelchair user. I have loved all my nurses except one or 2. Ive been here 2.5 yrs.thats great. The facility has been wonderful to me. Ive made friends with my residents neighbor too.

Stay Away! 2/2023 our wing had no CNA for 4 hours. Waited 1 hour for severe pain pill, and 1 hr on bedpan. Agency hired CNA walked off her shift without notifying staff. Meals cold and served late. Baseboards needs painting. CNA speaking native French in front of patients. Promises unkept. Come and check it out for your loved ones. CNA say they’ll be back, only never to return. You been warned
