BEIJING TOKYO reviews
16Always great, Friendly service and great food. They have spoiled us with their reasonable cost menu and quality. The Hibachi menu items are our favorite and Beijing Tokyo is our pick over the more expensive and time consuming options like Kobe Steakhouse. The biggest surprise for me is their brewed Sweet Tea. It's delicious and infinitely better than the fountain or bottled offerings from other local restaurants. Dining in is my favorite, but I love that I can order it all to go as well. Beijing Tokyo is always a great choice!
Rice has no flavor for Japanese rice. Restaurant isn’t inviting and very underwhelming. Will not be going back
Don’t write many reviews as i feel it’s not worth the time and typically food is food and nothing is bad. Unfortunately in this case this could very well be the worst Chinese/Sushi I’ve ever had while living in the central Florida, absolutely not deserving of its 4.3 stars and would like to warn everyone to stay away from this establishment, the sushi was the worst of it all as the tuna and salmon are an abomination as the tuna/salmon was infused with tempura flakes that weren’t even crunchy, stale mush was a better way to describe it. The entrees were pretty mediocre but not horrendous. Everything is pretty cheap all things considered so it wasn’t the worst money I’ve ever spent. Be warned.
Not worth your money! Better off going across the street to Publix and getting same quality if not better when it comes to sushi. Some rolls advertised with “Krab” and others “Crab” so seeing as I despise imitation crab I stayed away from the “Krab” rolls, only to realize that my Valentine roll was topped with “krab” and not actual crab. The Ichiban roll (I believe that’s what it’s called) was supposed to be topped with eel, when I received my to-go order only half the roll was topped with eel, which is not advertised on the menu, the descriptions of the rolls are misleading and way overpriced for the quantity. The rolls are not well-wrapped and fall apart the moment you touch them and the food overall is very subpar, according to the description of the 2 rolls I purchased I was way over promised and under delivered! I was expecting salmon and tuna but after reading another guy’s review apparently the salmon and tuna are like some kind of mixed concoction which I wasn’t quite understanding initially (again not advertised that way on the menu) the service was meh…. And the food taste overall was nothing I would revisit this restaurant for. Save your time, energy, and money! Wish I had….
One of the better places we have found in Central Florida! Dine in or takeaway. Closed Tuesdays.
Sushi in the middle of suburbia! The fusion cuisine fills the need for sure without having to travel too far. There is good variety. Dine in service is fast and courteous.
Got takeout on Xmas. Very mediocre. Overcooked veggies and bland sauces. The sushi was pretty good.
Don’t let the name of this place throw you. This is the best miso, sushi and lomein I’ve had state side. The owners know what they’re doing. My new standard in which all other American, Japanese restaurants will be compared. Watch out for the door chime on your way in.
Always a wonderful experience. The staff is nice and the food is delicious. The avocado salad is always so fresh.
Higher prices when you get the bill. On meniu they have lower prices, when they bring the bill, surprise! The food that we ate there does not worth the money that we paid for. Never go back.
Sushi is utterly pathetic. Small. Tasteless. Makes publix sushi seem like world class in comparison.
We ordered an online delivery at 834pm. It is now 950pm and we never got our delivery after being promised that the owner would deliver our food but never showed up.yet I got an email that the food was delivered when in fact it NEVER showed up. If I can give a zero for such poor customer service I would.
High prices and sushi I would personally consider buffet or fast-food grade. I would not mind the higher price or the lower quality if it was fast; I was there with only one other customer and it took a long time for the quality. I will not be going back.
Edit: Came home to a pretty bad stomach ache and I do not live far. The owners need to change the operations as soon as possible or they may not be in business for long. Very disappointed as the location and customer service was great.
Please do not eat here. It is very bad. The quality was worse than what I would get on any buffet on OBT…. I am not picky with sushi but this was truly disgusting, and the service was just as rough. I have no good things to day about my experience here. I can find the good in almost every restaurant but there was no good here
Not worth the time or money. The orange chicken and general tso chicken tasted like a cheap frozen meal, the wonton soup tasted old and was VERY dark in color and last but not least the sushi was chewy and tasted like nothing. I can saw without a doubt that we will not be back and don't reccomend.
