Belkys Bravo MD: Pediatrics, Miami FL

I was interested in reading the reviews when I was in this office, my girl's appointment was at 3: 30 pm and she was seen at 5: 40 pm, a single doctor (Dr. Bravo) treating many children at the same time, the staff says it is First time they attend late, but reading the reviews I realize that this is always. They schedule appointments for several children at the same time, that office is in chaos.the doctor attends in a hurry so the care is bad. I am surprised by the good reviews.i dont recommend this dr.

This office is amazing my first has been going to Dr. Bravo since she was a baby and now she's 14 and still my son has been going here since he was baby too. I live far distance from this office and to me it's worth the drive I have trusted her with my kids. I have watched the staff grow into young women and mothers. This my office coral way

I have been going to Dr. Bravo for over 20 years, I live very far from her office, but to me it's worth the drive-she has been an excellent doctor all these years beginning with my daughter and now my son who is 16 years old. I love her honesty, professionalism and compassion. She really cares about her patients and always has time to speak with you. My son loves her. The office is very clean and her staff is great, I would not change her for any other pediatrician!

I have been with Bravo for about 6 years now. We've had different pediatricians before, but Bravo is definitely EXCEPTIONAL.
She cares for all 4 of my kids and I come from WEST KENDALL to see her keep that in mind. We use to live in the Gables, but I wouldn't trade the care she gives my kids. 5 Stars ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED

Lemme tell you something, in October 24,2018 we was going inside the clinic we was waiting to call my name, after a few min they call my name so we went to the room and tell my mom what is wrong with me, My Mom say that this boy Me is sick he been cough for 24/7 so she like okay lemme get the Nurse, few min again pass guess who come is a different Nurse I turn around telling my Mom this "Where is my Nurse" my Mom is like Don't know? So the Nurse check me and told me that My old Nurse stop working for the clinic so I beginning to cough so the Nurse is like he fine there nothing wrong with him I told the my throat hurt she still saying you are fine so my Mom got mad telling the Nurse the I needed medicine you know what the Nurse say she was like "so you try to be rude with me I will call the other Nurse for you because I check your son everything was fine my Mom tell me we are leaving so we left.

For several years I brought my child to this doctor. She was actually very well recommended and at first, she seemed okay to me. The office itself, I was never really fond of, as on the rare occassions we visited (my child was not one to get sick often), the a/c was either broken or not working property so most of the time it was hot, and the possibilities of contracting other colds, flus and/or viruses were high. There is one particular nurse there who is awesome; very nice, tries to make you feel comfortable and very personable. The staff is okay; they were never rude to me, however, they were not good at communicating with me as a parent. Several times, they left me waiting for weeks for referrals to other therapy providers, and failed to inform me that their office requires a dr.office visit, prior to them approving a renewal of a referral. And this is when I realized that this doctor's main interests are not in the best of the child but rather in the best of her pocket. Once my little one was diagnosed as a special needs child, I noticed Dr. Bravo looked at my child differently and made me very uncomfortable. Every time I needed a renewal for a referral (as they expire every 6 months approximately) I would be told I needed to visit the office again before they could issue one, which in turn, only delays a child from receiving the very services they need in order to progress. I am not a fan of switching doctors, but when a PCP's practices delay a child from receiving necessary services which can help improve their condition or disorder, just to be able to charge an additional office visit, that's when I draw the line.

If your kid is sick and you need to walk in it is brutal, they say appointments have priority and I understand to a certain point, but when you see over 15 healthy children with appointments for check up going first that your kid with 103 fever and you got there before the 15 healthy appointments and almost three hours have passed while your child is in your arms in pain I believe something is wrong, because appointments can have the priority but at least you should see the emergency kid every 5 appointments, that would be more fair, the doctor can be good but is not worth the kids pain, you finish faster in the hospital. Time for a new pediatrician! And don't tell me that you guys already do this because I was there and there was NO order in that. I recommend everyone find another dr, they already have to much in their hands to give a good service, go elsewhere
