I, also, cannot say enough about my experience at Belvedere Vac and Sew. Tom not only fixed my Janome New Home sewing machine, but found the elusive problem I was having with my Miele vacuum cleaner. He would NOT be defeated and send away a a less than satisfied customer.

Tom is personable, respectful and patient. I took a stack of his cards so I can share him with as many people as possible.

BEWARE, such good reviews I decided to take my $99 15 year old singer there. I called and explained what was wrong, the first thing he asked was when was it serviced. I said never, I only use to mend. He told me he charged$79.95 for service plus parts. I told him it wasn’t worth it, just a new clutch. I did not ask how much a clutch was, but on Amazon they were 35. So I wasn’t concerned, I took it to him and he was very busy working with a customer and another waiting, so I told him who I was and reminded him what he told me was wrong, I also reminded him I was not in a hurry. The next day I was told I owed $117 he had serviced and did a repair on the clutch, he had just drilled another hole below the broken hole. So no new part! I was very upset, I went in an explained I was not happy and showed where a part was available for $35
He eventually cut my bill in half, and asked if I was happy and I replied no, but paid him and took my machine. Anyone using him I encourage getting a firm estimate

I found Tom 5 years ago-he fixed a sewing machine that was kaput in just a few days. This very same machine is my workhorse and I brought her in again yesterday. He opened her up and SHOWED me the parts that needed to be replaced. Gave me back those parts today with a perfectly functioning machine.

Tom is old school. Tells it like it is, cleaning and oiling the machine is “just part of the service. ” I hope, like I do with my husband, he outlives me b/c when you find the guy you trust to say, “yep. Still makes sense to fix this over buying another” that’s priceless!

I went up and am saw Tom about a sewing machine I had that was not working. He checked it out as soon as I took it in. He could not fix it due to it being a Singer and there is a computer or power problem-they won’t sell parts to anyone. He was very professional and let me know what I needed to do about it. I would highly recommend him foe any sewing machine or vacuum repair. Very nice store and excellent customer service. Thanks again.

I took three problems to this business and “Tom” the owner was the best. He took one look? At these? ? Sewing machines that I had and fixed them to perfection. The two sewing machines were old but he worked on them continuously while I stood and watched. It was such a pleasure to meet him and get my grandmother’s machine running as well as another machine that I had bought at a yard sale. Both fixed to perfection! The old vacuum was also repaired in short order. I love this place and I will go back! ️ The price to fix all of them was very reasonable too! Thank you TOM!
