If I could give them a zero I would. This is the worst property management company in Florida hands down. I have been a Realtor for 24 year and I tell you they never disappoint with the bad service and the disgusting way they talk and treat people! Whoever owns this company needs to get the staff together and have proper training on customer service. The person they have answer the phone is the worst of all and should be let go today! I would NEVER EVER use this company!

Not up to date in technology for customers, which makes it hard for property owners and tenants. Deficient customer service

Worst experience as a landlord and my tenants dealing with this management company. They state 3-4 weeks to get tenants approved and it appears only one person has full control of the approval process. I don't mind waiting for 3-4 weeks but when the application for background is complete and BOARD members for my association is stating that I need to get Benchmark to get the final approval-there is a BIG disconnect at how one person manages the Application Department and how she NEVER responds to you. I called and emailed countless of times and this level of customer service to landlords is by far the worst of the worst. When she finally gave me the approval, it was 45 days later and I lost the tenant as they found something else. Thanks Benchmark for NOT following up with my emails & voicemails and NOT managing the approval application correctly. After a tedious process of paperwork and having docs notarized, you guys should move away from hard paper and do everything digital versus filling out applications and coming into your office. It is counterintuitive and counter productive from my tenant's time to have all these unnecessary hurdles especially when you guys NEVER RESPOND! Poor representation of your company and hate that you guys are managing my properties.

If I could rate 0 I would. I paid them $450 and submitted my application- which they never turned in and claim they lost due to “switching management”. I had to go into the office and attempt to get my application back in person to take to new manager since they failed to do after a month. Office staff basically answered every single question as “i don’t know”, were extremely rude and uneducated on their processes”. I turned in my app on the 5th and the manager Brittany told me “we switched companies so we were done with you on the 8th” and refused to assist- only threaten to contact police since she wanted to go to lunch. They locked me inside the building so they could have lunch while I was speaking with front desk about this situation. I will be filing numerous complaints as well as contacting the fire dept about them locking me in- this is a violation of fire codes as well as false imprisonment. I’ve filed already with BBB and Florida Dept of Business and Professional Regulation.

These folks are the worst office personnel I’ve ever worked with. I submitted an application to them and they claim to have sent it back to me because it was missing documents. They don’t know the address they sent it to, didn’t notify me by phone or email that they sent it, didn’t send it registered mail (considering sensitive documents were included and money) and even after a second application was submitted they still have not processed it in 3 weeks. This company should be shut down and their license taken.

The most rude people i have ever spoken to, and i lived in New York and have been to the DMV. I can say the DMV in NY was like being in paradise compared to this rude group of frustrated housewives with very limited authority. Dont buy or rent properties with benchmark properties!

The poor attention is extreme, nobody cares to attend, they are negligent, the ladies across the street rarely attend, they never have an answer for anything.horrible attention. The applications say that they will be attended to between 3 to 4 weeks and more than a month passes and they do not say anything, they are fresh.

Nobody supervises the property. It’s totally a chaos. The Condomínio’s very dirty. They just don’t care.when we finish to pay one assessment, they come with another one. If you don’t want a headache, never use this company. Terrible Customer Service.
I can’t wait to get away from benchmark.

The worst property management company I have ever had to deal with. Since moving in they have been completely useless. We closed on our home and literally could not get access to the neighborhood for DAYS! We should have known then. We had to enter from the old owners phone in the system. Their system for HOA payments is from the stone age. Never have I seen such a difficult system to pay dues! Our fees change and I am never in the loop until there is an underpayment. Then I get bombarded with 2-3 of the same letter and no directions on how to pay and fix my auto payments. We had issues with our landscaping and no response. Had to spend money out of pocket to replace a dead palm that the landscaping company neglected. This should have been covered from HOA!

The company hires racist people. I am literally sitting in the offices right now with my three kids and have not even been acknowledged. One lady finished talking to a customer and went to the back to make copies. They are not helpful and are very rude.

Wish I had at least reviewed this company reviews before moving forward to rent a location they oversee. On December 2nd 2022, I dropped off documents for the company to approve for leasing one of the condos they oversee and today is 1/4/23 and still no calls no emails and when you call they told you to wait until someone reaches out to you. It's been over 4 weeks, would like to know exactly what I'm waiting on, would actually like to get my money back to go and see if I can rent somewhere else.
