Best Western Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port

We stayed here because we were flying in for a cruise that leaves from Miami. It is a nice location where you can walk a short distance to a sports bar. It was an $80 uber ride to the port in Miami.

Quiet. The hotel is conveniently located near the FLL airport. Shopping plaza/ complex as well as fast food restaurants nearby.

I had problems with the airport shuttle. I waited for 35mins after calling the hotel and finally had to take a taxi.

Do not recommend. Bed bugs, roaches IN THE BED! Internet is unacceptable for a Brand as Big as Best western

For airport purposes, it's very close by. There's a plaza across the street with stores and restaurants. The area appears safe.

The guy at the counter with the night shift is rude with an attitude. The bathroom light wasn't working. I told the front desk guy the same night and he replied back, well there's nothing i can do for you right now. I Reminded him in the morning, and he said they'll get fixed. Came to the room late after working all day. Just to find the light still was not working. I checked out of the room early as I couldn't even take a shower. I was not about to take a shower in the dark again, I got a charger for that night. I'll never go back to the hotel room.

Great experience, Karlyn our front desk clerk was very helpful with check-in, and ensure we had all the information needed. Great deal for the price.

Excellent staff and nice complimentary breakfast, as always.

Room was disappointing. Couldn't get a channel guide on the TV or from front desk. No cold water hardly any pressure. Painting incomplete, curtains cigarette burns in non smokingroom, microwave error. Go to Stuart Fl. SUPER nice there worth the extra travel for same money.

I had to stay in this hotel due to a canceled flight.
First they advertise incorrectly. THERE IS NO 24HR SHUTTLE.
I REPEAT. THE SUTTLE TO THE AIRPORT IS NOT 24HRS. And there is no reliable cell crevice to get an Uber.
It took one hour to check in with my family which includes two children.
After checking in we proceed to the room to find only one bed.
We waited an 45min for one bed! Their solution was to bring an extra bed to the room. Fine. At this point what can I do? Wait one more hour?

The pool was open the whole entire night. So if you have a room facing the pool it's loud! There where people still there when I got up for my flight at three am. This is great if you need a party athomosphere.
In fact if you want to party I probably would recommend this hotel. However. For a family not so much.

Do not stay here. My sister and I had to stay here after a cancelled flight. When we checked in, we were given keys to our room, only to find that it was already occupied by other guests. This is a huge safety issue and made us uneasy the entire time we stayed. When we went back to the front desk about the issue, his excuse was 'it's been busy tonight. ' For the remainder of our stay, the keys to our ACTUAL room did not work. We went to the front desk and were told our room keys were "fixed, " but they weren't. The front desk associate then accused my sister of not being an actual guest at the hotel - as if we were trespassing and weren't supposed to be there. For the rest of our stay, one of us had to stay in the room at all times so we could get back in. This was a horrible experience and I would never stay again. Do not stay here.

It is not worth amount of money that I've asked you to pay the only thing that I can say it's worth it. It's the breakfast they have a banging as breakfast.

BEWARE horrible customer service. I had a layover in Fort Lauderdale Airport and my connecting flight ended up being cancelled at 1am. The next available flight was not until 10: 40 am the next day and I was traveling with my husband and 10 year old daughter and we did not want to sleep in the airport. I called the Best Western Reservations 800 number and A REPRESENTATIVE FROM BEST WESTERN INFORMED ME that this property Best Western Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port had a room available and that they had 24 front desk service and 24 hour airport shuttle service. I gave her my credit card number so she could make me the reservation and she gave me the hotel's front desk number so that I could call and arrange shuttle pick up. After hanging up with the Best Western reservations representative, I dialed the hotel's front desk number and received no answer. For the next several hours until about 5am I continued to call every 15 minutes and never received an answer so my husband daughter and I ended up sleeping on top of our suitcases in the airport. I had a hard time sleeping so decided to check my online banking and saw that I had been charged $111 by the hotel which supposedly has 24 hour front desk service yet never answered my phone call. I finally managed to get an answer at the front desk at 7am at which time we were obviously not going to check in to the room because our flight was due to depart at 10: 40am. The woman on the phone said I was marked as a no show and that the only person who had the authority to authorize a refund was the general manager Ignacio Real who I have tried to get on the phone for the past 5 days and has not been available once and has failed to return my call. DON'T RISK STAYING HERE. They basically stole $111 from me. I didn't utilize any of their services. I didn't stay in their room. They took $111 from me and gave me nothing in return. The reservation representative gave me the wrong information about the shuttle because apparently it only runs until midnight not 24 hours and their claim that they have 24 hour front desk is false because I called about 20 times between 1am and 5am and no one answered the phone. If this establishment had a half decent general manager who cared about customer service, I would have already received a refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.

I stayed here over the past weekend, wasn’t pleased with much the hotel offered. The Wi-Fi service was very poor, I had to sit by the door in order to get at least one bar with the Wi-Fi. Most staff members did not have a pleasant attitude. We went for breakfast around close to 9: 30 and the staff member was basically taking all the breakfast items away while we were trying to get some. I believe that she could’ve at least allowed us to finish our plate first. Overall, the good thing I enjoyed about the hotel was the surrounding area and the airport shuttle from the hotel which was on time. Not very pleased
