Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn, Fort Lauderdale FL

It was great. Convenient location. 18 minutes from airport. 5 minute walk to beach. Rooms with balcony view of pool and palm trees. Very clean rooms.

Hotel was run down, daytime staff was rude, room was dirty with a musty odor, toilet was not flushing correctly (had to hold the handle down to flush), and I woke up with bed bug bites. I had to throw my bags away to prevent the possibility of carrying bugs home with me. Overall, the only good thing about this hotel is location, as you can walk to the beach and a nice strip of restaurants and shops.

The WiFi was constantly down. We complain several times through out the week and the staff did absolutely nothing. Everytime we would ask for extra pillows they would be out. There was only one working elevator in the whole hotel.

Great location. Very convenient. Old school AC's which are the best. Cornelia at the front desk went above and beyond to make our trip exceptional. We will visit again bc of her customer service

First night we found a cockroach crawling on our nightstand, they switched us rooms. 2 days later found another cockroach in our bathroom in the new room. Thankfully the manager was nice enough to refund us $55 but just want others to be aware if they have a phobia like I do. Amazing views and easy walk to the beach!

Clean and comfortable hotel at a good value! The area is a little sketchy at night but once you're in the room, it feels safe. Breakfast was stressful, but had good selections. The hotel is a good walking distance from the beach and parking was a decent price and gated to keep your car safe.

Its not like being at a high end hotel at all. But your not paying the premium price either. Free breakfast, friendly staff, everything was clean, decent pool, nice deck chairs. For the money we would come back. Only ½ a block from the boardwalk.

Good place, very near to the beach. Breakfast is great. Lots of variety of food. Tea, coffee, fruits, fruit juices, waffles etc.room is cozy and has a big screen tv, microwave, mini fridge, bathtub etc. Toiletries are ample. Towels are ample, clean and soft. Lots of chairs around the pool. I would recommend this one, moderately reasonably priced.

Hotel was nice, clean, breakfast was great. I felt safe. The location was great. My only problem was check in, on the website my check in was for 3pm but we wasn't allowed to check in until 4pm.

Amazing experience, friendly and attentive staff, clean room, breakfast included, heated pool and very close to the beach. Hope to be back soon;-)

Upon reading reviews the one elevator was down 7 mo.ago and it's still down. The only pop machine is on the 4th floor, it's been inoperable more than operable. Some of the staff and house keeping are very rude. The bar is not open, it's the same cold breakfast everyday. We've had a leak from the room above us this whole time, nobody will fix it. I have been trying to upgrade my room since we got here, they won't accommodate, but now that we only have 3 days left, they want to do something. Oh, and they don't open the pool til 8 a.m. And close it at 6 p.m. I do not recommend this hotel. They could care less about there guests.

The lobby here is pretty but wow are the walls, doors, and rooms so rundown. We were supposed to stay for 6 nights but could only handle one due to how dirty and rundown our room was. Awful. The receptionists though were amazing and extremely helpful

Kinda dated but excellent location. Just steps from the beach! Free breakfast as well with multiple options! Will return!

The kitchen staff was very rude to my 80 year old grandmother and several others in our party. Breakfast could have started earlier, and the food was probably the worst breakfast we have ever had. Our room was mediocre. Candy in the floor. Hair in the corner of the bathroom. The only thing we liked was the small walk to the beach and the younger woman that worked the evening/night shift was very nice and helpful. Other than that.we will not be coming back.

We had a horrible experience. The staff was cold. The TV did not work in the room. Called for help, still didn’t work. Parking cost $10 extra. Not happy with the experience

You get what you pay for but my room was just fine. My only complaints include the outlet for the refrigerator and TV (worked here and there) and the shower (turn to the left COLD, turn to the right HOT) couldn't get to an in between. I thought all rooms had balconies but I was wrong.

Very disappointed. Staff very lazy and unhelpful. No effort to try and make our stay enjoyable. First time I stayed at a hotel this pricey and the staff do not try to make your stay comfortable. I will not stay here ever. The only good thing was the beach was walking distance. Other than that, I do not recommend.

Cozy rooms with balcony, nice pool, excellent complimentary breakfast options and friendly staff. Beach is a short walk away and many restaurants near by and much to do in the area.

First let me say the pool was nice and the front desk was pleasant, but I keep getting charged on my card with a total being over 600 dollars. I stayed for 2 nights. I called and spoke with the "accountant" 3 days after I checked out and she told me I should have my deposit back in a few days.it's been a week and I just noticed another $200 charge pending from them. I will be calling my bank in the morning. Do yourself a favor and find another hotel near the beach. ***UPDATE*** I have upped the bc I ended up being refunded my deposit the day after the review. I do feel like the deposit is way too HIGH for the place.
