I had a pretty scary health episode and couldn't make it all the way to the VA. I was treated by Dr. Fletcher and nurse Tracy. They made me fell very comfortable and took care of me with top notch care. Thank you.

Thank you so much to all the wonderful nurses that were so polite, patient and genuinely caring for my wife during labor, postpartum and our baby in NICU. We had a very great experience at Bethesda East, a special thank you to all the nurses in NICU, Kristy in L&D and Cyndi in Maternity care. You guys made her feel safe and we thank you for that. God Bless.

Very poor service. Longer than 1 hour wait time, if you feel sick go anywhere else. Not worth dying waiting

One star is to much for this hospital, my child was brought in by ambulance and we were treated very poorly! The nastiest nurses I have ever come in contact with (pediatric ER). She came in a very fragile state and was treated like she wasn’t a priority! !

Gave my fiancé and I a HUGE scare. We recently found out I was pregnant with multiple home pregnancy tests. I started having a little spotting and some back pain so I went to the hospital to see what was going on. They did an ultrasound and told me I had a cyst that was rupturing and there was no chance of pregnancy. Not pregnant. I called my obgyn the next day cause now I was in a panic and wanted answers. My period had already been a week late. Which it’s never late by more then a day here and there. My obgyn did tests the next day along with more blood tests and confirmed my HCG levels were indeed rising. The level is now past 1,000 and rising. I AM PREGNANT. I will not be coming back to this hospital by choice. Just because you have nice staff doesn’t make you a good hospital. People need to have the right information. My obgyn said they shouldn’t have scared me like that. I’m glad this stressful week is over thanks to OBGYN medical specialist of the palm beaches.

I already hate going to the hospital but this takes the cake. My blood pressure was steady rising even though I take my medication. I called my doctor and was told to go to the ER. I arrived and was basically rushed out. They gave me labatalol to bring my pressure down then released. I went home and had a stroke about 2 hours later. When the ambulance came they wanted to take me to Bethesda and thank God that my sister was able to speak for me. They took me to JFK and I received the care that was needed. I am alive with minimal lasting effects no thanks to Bethesda. I was looking rough when I got there because my family rushed me, but that is no excuse. I am human at the end of the day. I hope the right person reads this and looks into some if their policies.

The ER seemed fine, but from the time we were told there would be a stay problems started. From the time we got to the room that we had been told three hours earlier was being readied, there was nothing but delays, lack of communication, people telling us they would “tell someone” there was a problem, days when we never saw a doctor but were told about meds and procedures that were never discussed. A call for a nurse would normally take over an hour to get a response. An IV was pulled out and this “emergency” was left for over an hour with the potassium drip and saline drip pooling up on the floor.

There were numerous other problems over the many days here but simply put this was the worst hospital stay I have ever experienced!

WARNING: They have violated the VA Mission Act by billing me for a surgery that I as a combat-injured veteran had through the VA. Not only that, they have now placed me in collection because the "VA did not pay them enough money. "

This hospital lacks customer service and does not respect or listen to their African American patients. I was sent home and the medical issue I went in for was not treated correctly. They didn’t even run much tests to see what the problem is. They billed me $5K for no reason. I ended up going to JFK, and I was treated with respect. They listened to me and my problem was resolved. It seems as if Bethesda only cares about the money and not their patients. GO TO JFK IF AN EMERGENCY EVER ARISES. STAY AWAY FROM BETHESDA

Lackadaisical care from much of the staff, several who were neither knowledgeable nor conscientious, one night nurse was actually scary. Lots of ‘attitude’. Indifferent housekeeping. Messed up meds list upon discharge. Just not a great hospital.

I went to the emergency room in the middle of the night with a lot of pain. They took me right in and everyone who helped me was friendly, polite and professional. I'm glad I live nearby in case the need arises again.

I will not return to this "hospital. " The ER "doctor" was rude and did not even bother to check with me or read the admissions chart that listed my allergies. To Bethesda: I do not have a death wish so I will not return.

The receptionist name elsia should not be working in a hospital where people don’t feel good. Super rude and cold towards the people she should have sympathy for. I’m still in the waiting room deciding if I should go to jfk because if the receptionist isn’t even inviting

This hospital is the worst. I went in for a kidney stone with full senses, and by noon, was in the ICU ward fighting for my life. Incompetent staff and doctors. They can beg for the $937 I stll owe them. They are lucky I have not sued them for malpractice. However, I am thinking of doing so, and going to all media outlets on the horrible service and care they provide. When it comes out on the media, lets see how brazin they are then! Drop the money charges, and I will walk away quietly.

My friend came in with a true emergency. I am a nurse and was very impressed how quickly the staff responded. Plenty of tests taken, even her surgeon came in to see her that evening. I cannot say enough about the wonderful, efficient, caring treatment she received!

If I could give no stars I would. This hospital is the WORST. I once had an issue to where I had to a have a incision. This hospital told me that they couldn’t do anything to help me. I drove over to JFK only had to wait about 10 minuets and the incision was performed. Now my grandma is at Bathesda which she was stuck 3 times because they had inexperienced trainees who couldn’t find a vein. One stuck her in the back of her arm.

Had both my children there and the staff in the maternity ward were so amazing and caring. Wonderful experience.
