Big John's Pizzeria, Key West FL

Not a really good place to be, cashier was mad, basically they all were mad, maybe they don't get pay enough i don't know, but hopefully it can get better one day.

Attempted to place an order today and the lady that answered was very rude. I love supporting mom and pops places but not when they are rude.

Food is "ok" but the shocker is They charge 4% more for any payment made with a charge or debit card. What year do we live in? This feels like taking avantage of the customers on already VERY over priced pizza. No thanks.

This is literally one of my favorite restaurants, my favorite food there is their Buffalo pizza and their French fries. I really recommend you get them.

One of my kids and I favorite places for pizza/ pasta nights! We've also order delivery and take out with them and never had any problems. Good serving sizes and the order is always correct

One of the best mom and pop pizzerias in the Florida Keys! Everything was delicious! The all-the-way pizza couldn’t have been better. Loaded with toppings on a New York style crust. The salad was perfect as an appetizer along with their famous garlic knots! Plenty of garlic butter and parmesan cheese on crispy outside yet doughy inside bread bites. The spaghetti was great with a huge portion and more garlic knots! All you can drink fountain pop as well! The staff was very friendly and polite when we ordered and took very good care of us. They also serve and sell a variety of wines and desserts! Located in Key Plaza, a must try pizza joint in the New Town of Key West. Very pleased and will definitely be back next time!

Now, in the past, I tried their buffalo wings and was thoroughly disappointed but this is The Keys and some restaurants items can be hit or miss, especially if they're a local fav. I decided to give them another shot. Last night, my husband and I ordered a cold sub and Fettuccine Alfredo. We get the bag and didn't think anything of it however, when we get home I noticed how my sub was not only a total mess but they put it on top me my husband's steaming hot Alfredo.so now that football turf they call lettuce is withered. There was nothing but meat and cheese. No mayo, no dressing, NOTHING! Just withered lettuce and cold cuts and it was sloppily made. I couldn't even eat it because the bread was also soggy. First time giving another business besides Mr. Z's my money and the food was horrible. I'll be going back downtown where I belong. If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely disgusting.

Got the lunch pepperoni pizza and the pesto chicken pasta and shared it with my boyfriend. It was super filling and amazing. We will definitely be back, I wish we knew about this place sooner!

By far my favorite place to grab a bite to eat. Great Pizza, Pasta, and Sandwiches. Very friendly environment and welcoming staff. Highly recommend.

I have been eating at Big John's for a very long time. There isn't anywhere on the Island that compares. Amazing Everything!

We were trippin MAD SACK and we never eat much while we are tripping, so we got a small buffalo pizza from these guys and it was Füking spectacular. We did not order a big enough pizza. Love you guys! Stay salty.

Having lived in Key West for many year it's my first stop when I visit on vacation. They have an amazing selection of quality food from pizza, lasagna, wings salads and sandwiches. You have to try thier antipasto salad it is amazing with their homemade dressing! The staff its always friendly and great at helping me pair my entree with a great glass of wine! If you want great quality food with a comfortable family atmosphere you have to stop by Big John's while in town. Also if you want to stay in and relax they have excellent delivery service!

Absolutely great food. Pleasant place and very helpful staff. Anyone who loves Italian pizza like me will be really happy. I'm glad there are such restaurants. Thanks!

Chicken parmesan was excellent, and the fried shrimp appetizer was amazing. Lightly coated, pan fried shrimp, try it you will love it!

Friendly staff, great service, yummy pizza. Stopped in 5 minutes before closing and they gladly made a custom pizza for me, whining. Great selection of individual slices day and evening. Big John's is one of only three pizza joints I go to in Key West.

Same as the persons review above mine reads. Don't know if they have new management in there but I ordered $50 worth of food, only to get a pizza with barely any toppings on it. I immediately called after opening the box. They answered the phone "HOLD" then laid the phone down. I watched my phone until I'd been listening to them for 5 minutes then I hung up, called back and the kid answered the phone and said hold, I said no. I explained that I just held for 5 minutes, he said they were short staffed. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited 5 more minutes. When he returned to the call, I explained that there were virtually no toppings on my meatlovers pizza. They told me to take a picture of the pizza then text it to them.
They replied, "That's how it looks".
I said that I'd ordered numerous times from them and that it's always been great but this one wasn't. They offered to give me a small discount first then after a out 10 text messages back and forth they offered me a small pizza. What a joke. I've been in F&B management for over 35 years and have never been treated like a chump like this.
When I told them, I didn't want a small pizza because I ordered a large pizza, they told me that if I didn't want the small pizza that they wouldn't send it.
Way to lose business in a time when building new customers is crucial!
I hope I spark a bunch more to stay away from this place. Loved it but won't support bad management.
