Dan, the owner of Big Wood Tree Service, returned my initial call promptly. He made timely arrangements to come to my home and conduct a free estimate. The quote was the most reasonable of three I had done for the removal of two large oaks very near the house and a screened patio. His crew of 4 men arrived within a week and using modern equipment and vehicles removed the trees in several hours. The crew were polite, well informed and listened to my concerns. They left my yard and work site well raked with all debris removed. Highly recommended.

Very responsive, call me back the same day I called. They quoted me a very competitive price. They showed up an hour earlier, have all the equipment necessary to do a professional job. 5 guys, working together efficiently and fast and they cleaned up everything. They took all the tree branches in their dumster and raked and blow all the driveway.

Daniel and his crew were great. Our 30 foot queen palm needed to come down for our safety, and he was recommended by our lawn maintenance guy. They took the tree down easily, took away all the limbs, cleaned up the yard, filled in the hole after stump grinding, and you’d never know there had been a tree there. Big Wood Tree Service was affordable, and we would recommend you calling for an estimate.

I was happy to see a good quote from these guys, but even happier when they were extremely professional and helpful. I needed some debris moved for my tree to get taken out and they didn't complain. Dan and his team were amazing!

Im so happy I decided to hire Big Wood Tree Service! Thrilled! Relieved even! I had a massive Oak Tree in my front yard removed and the stump grinded, two oak trees heavily trimmed and two palm trees trimmed. And everything had thick growth with all trees. I was quoted a competative price that couldnt be beat. I did have another company quote but really it was a waste of my time, and i shouldnt have bothered with anyone else in fact, i didnt and cancelled the other quote i was waiting on.

The day of the service all the guys were nice, respectful, hard working, safe and looked professional. They came early and fully equipped. Big Wood Tree service was able to mostly get everything done by about 12: 30! Like holy cow batman! And thats with taking a little break. I though for sure the project would be the entire day. There were two guys that stayed another hour to clean up realy good and finish the stump grinding but even they were out by about 2pm. The workers kept everything neat and steadily picked up as the project continued too which was realy important and i wasnt looking at a mess for hours. When i walked outside for the first time to see all the work that had been done I was beside myself with amazement and joy. I couldnt stop smiling because it was a relief to have everything taken care of and the before and after was so different. I just kept staring and smiling.

(Side note: So, coincidentally, both my next door neighbors hired a tree service too. I feel bad for them because as i sit here writing this, at the one house, the 4 guys have been at thier house for 6 hours and only removed one tree and working on another and the yard is a mess. Half the time i hear laughing and see the workers just standing there. The other neighbor is being charged $3500 and is only having one tree removed and another trimmed AND their tree service cant come out until the end of July.)

I would definitely recommend Big Wood Tree Services. They were professional and courteous and did a wonderful job removing a wall of 40' tall sea grapes and trimming 25 large palm trees. Quality work, reasonable prices, and they follow through with what they say they will do. Five Star service.

Called in Bigwood Tree Service to fix Sylvester palms that had been shredded when trimmed by someone who didn’t have the right tools/experience for the job. Couldn’t have been more happy with the repair job. Sent this text to owner when work was finished… “After the horrible trimming experience I had on our very expensive trees (from a substantial company with good reviews), I was really stressed out. Kept me awake at night wondering who I should let touch our palms because I knew we only had one shot to fix them. I was also so disheartened that so much bark was knocked off during initial trim. Your crew knew exactly what to do and trimmed down the broken bark so it wasn't so noticeable. Also removed sick ferns. Cuts match the length of the cuts below. I am a perfectionist and they were spot on for what they had to work with. Couldn't have asked for more. “

Dan and his team were very efficient at removing two trees in our yard. The stumps were ground perfectly and they cleaned up every bit of the mess. Will absolutely be using them again for tree trimming!

Daniel and his team did a great job from start to finish. Daniel returned my call and came out to quote a (very fair) price in a timely fashion. Came to do the job sooner than expected and took great care to avoid causing any damage to our yard while trimming our hugely overgrown mango tree and topping a very tall strangler fig. Then they cleaned everything up so you wouldn’t have even known they’d been here. Highly recommend and will be using Big Wood again in the future.

Nice work and fast. The crew pruned 5 palms, cut down 1 palm, cleaned everything and piled it cleanly next to the street for pickup in about 40 minutes. No haggle price and work was true to their word. I will use them again if I have more trees to trim.
