Bikini Hostel, Cafe & Beer Garden, Miami Beach FL

I booked this place for 1 day because i was passing through town, once i arrive i was a little skeptical about what i was getting myself into and decided that i would cancel but somehow the host Darius convinced me to stay lol I have to say I’m super glad i stayed i met some great people and I even extended for 3 more days. Darius has such great service. I’m sure he Isn’t new to this. Compared to other workers Darius was by far the best as he made me feel super comfortable as if i was in a 5 star hotel. Also other guest on the property love him! Darius definitely need to be recognized. Thanks to him i will definitely return with friends. I’m considering the house next time ;)

Very nice property, great location, service, and staff. Highly recommended if you are visiting South Beach alone, or with friends.

Place is the worst everrrr! It was sooooo dirty, filty, and nasty! The dust on the bed frame was horrible.empty water bottles from previous guests. Fire extinguisher was last checked in 2019. AC barely worked, the matresses make sooo much noise.
Dead cockroaches on the floor. Bathroom no privacy, no blind and it had HAIR from previous guests, i had to clean the whole bathroom before using. They call it free breakfast.its more like cereal and milk, and that kichten is written salmonella everywhere!
Tv had no controller, no iron, no blow drier, dont beleive all the fun they advertised its a LIE.
Front desk VERY UNPROFISSIONAL and NASTY LOOKING. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.
This place is definitely not a 3 start hostle.they dont even deserve to be open

Worst place I’ve ever stayed at! Deposit was never returned, people were really sketchy (it was more like a shelter for the homeless) rooms were filthy, it’s really expensive considering what you get, one mattress had a huge hole in the middle, people took our beds and we had to be moved to another room where during the middle of the night some people came in to confront us about being in their room, when in fact they were in the wrong room. It was a complete mess! I’d rather sleep in my car.

I was warmly welcomed by Walter, Felix and Duct Tape (this is a nickname). They were fun, friendly and helpful and made me feel safe as a female solo traveler. I also enjoyed meeting Maria. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice and friendly people, clean place to stay couple nights, good environment and the host Nathaniel treated me very good, thank you so much

You will not sleep. They play loud music at 2 am. Earplugs and ac on max and its so loud I cannot sleep

Front lobby is dirty they say there is bar which is not true my room door was broke there breakfast was terriable' the only positive note was Travis that worked the front desk was very helpful

FIRST CELL THEY PUT ME, looked like a rummage room. Top bunk of 3, screws coming out of the wall, went back to desk COMPLAINED, SECOND ROOM BETTER. Bathrooms. USED. HOT TUBE NO WORK. Breakfast was yuck. Stayed a week, would not recommend.if you are looking for European clean. Good for young bar night scene.

Had an awful experience at this place. My group had booked a 3 night stay here through AirBnB (Thu-Sun). On Saturday, we received a phone call informing us that they had accidentally double booked the house and that we were being kicked out. When we asked why our group was being forced out, they responded that the other group was having a birthday party at the house on Sat night. This response did not make any sense especially since we were already checked in and had spent 2 nights at the place. We refused to leave the house that we had fully paid for through Sunday. As such, Bikini Hostel called the police to force us out. Even the police officers were sympathetic and agreed that this scenario of double booking was extremely unfair to us.

When we spoke to AirBnB, they had mentioned that the host told AirBnB that we were being forced out because we committed some sort of violation. This was absolutely untrue and a complete LIE. We never received any type of warning, complaint, etc. The police officers who showed up never mentioned anything relating to a violation and the police report did not mention anything of the sort. What the AirBnB host/ Bikini Hostel did is 100% unethical and should be considered a crime. To me, blatantly lying like this may actually be worse than the act of forcing us out because they accidentally double booked the house.

Do not take the risk and stay here. We will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

It's a cool place if you're looking for the real hostel vibe, we got a private room which is like a jail cell with a bunk bed, which I had no problem with that but the mattresses are horrible.

I booked a 100% refundable room on Booking.com, cancelled the day after booking and a month later - the hostel will not release the charge. Booking.com, my credit card company and I are trying endlessly to contact them for the release, and they scan the calls and emails. You will not get your money back, something that is “guaranteed” and the customer service is awfully disappointing.

Dodgy staff. I had some stuff sent there via Amazon and they were not going to give it to me, but as soon as I cited the person that signed for it, it magically appeared and they handed it over.
