Dan and Jay responded to my call within 2 hours. They were professional and knowledgeable. The clogged pipes were fixed and they even cleaned up the shower and toilet from the overflow. Definitely will use again when needed.

We had to have our entire home repiped due to a foundation pipe leak. The guys came in and got the job done within one week.and after city inspection, the trench was closed up and our lives got back to normal again.

MARK AND VITO were here to fix our drainage problem and I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THEM! They were courteous, knowledgeable, respectful, professional, thorough and wouldn't stop until they found the problem! They went above and beyond to get us up and running again! I will never use anyone else! THANKS MARK AND VITO!

The plumber fixed the toilet so quickly that he didn’t bother to check if it were running properly. When I questioned him about it his excuse was that it takes a while for the tank to fill up because of the size? ! I ended up fixing it myself. Total waste of money and time. And the kitchen faucet he replaced is loose so I had to fix that too. Are there any real tradesmen out there?

I had just gotten back in town from a long trip to see my elderly parents. This is when I discovered that the entire house was stopped up. The last thing I wanted to do was go stay in a motel or with a friend until Monday. I called Billy the sunshine plumber, was greeted by a very nice woman at their answering service and had a call back within 10 minutes. "JT" was to the point and honest. He asked me what was going on and said he was going to be a couple hours at least because he was very backed up but if I could wait he would be there. He let me know the cost Upfront for an after-hours call and made sure I was okay with that. He arrived in half the time he had originally estimated. To say that I was frustrated with my house situation would have been an understatement. He came in and was very efficient and to the point which I found helped me relax a bit (I was concerned this was something catastrophic.) He went up on my roof after dark to clear the clog and had a good conversation with me about the cause of the issue afterwards. Importantly, he finished the work within an hour which kept my cost down. I was so grateful to have somebody to call afterhours on the weekend and was very pleased with the service. The cost was reasonable for an after-hours call as was the Peace of Mind knowing that my Plumbing was working once he left. In fact, my Plumbing has never worked so well. I would give more stars if I could and will call them if I have other plumbing needs.

Fair and honest. Done several jobs for us. I need another job done.but can't seem to get them to call back?

Big Joe is great to deal with and true to his word. We had a single day job turn into a week long job and he stuck to his original quote. There is no other plumber I'd use, even when things got complicated he stuck to his word over charging absorbent amounts. They triple checked the work and it is not often the business owner himself follows up 3 times and does the work themselves. This is a company with high moral value and great service. Jobs can always get complicated but these guys really saw it through with a great value, thanks Big Joe and the sunshine crew! Love the office family too! Great people!

The office staff was friendly and helpful, however I think they may need additional training on what services are offered and what their service techs can do. I scheduled a vanity replacement and toilet replacement along with disposal of old material. I live out of town so I asked if they could pick the material up at home depot and was told no problem. After materials arrived I sent the pickup slip to the office. They called and told me they could not fit it in their van. This also meant they could not dispose of the old vanity. After attempting to find a different way to transport the materials a different person in the office told me my 60" double vanity was not a normal size and they don't normally install them so it was not a typical project for them. He also explained transporting the material was too big of a risk for them to take. I get that, and it would have been no problem had the first person I spoke with given the same message. Now I am stuck with material at Home Depot that I cannot get to the job site and trying to find a different contractor to perform the work. I'm sure these folks do fine work, but the communication with me was lacking and I've been put in a difficult spot because of it.

Had to do an after hours visit and this company was the best! The stayed in touch several times prior to the visit to give updates on arrival. When Mark arrived, he was very polite, extremely knowledgeable, and cared about the work he did for us. Definitely recommend this company and Mark being your personal plumber!

Had a problem with water back up in shower and on floor around toilet in two bathrooms. Called for an appointment, could have had someone out same day but appointment was made for next morning to work with my schedule. JR called to let me know when he would arrive. He was very courteous and knowledgeable, knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it. JR explained how main water drains get clogged and things we can do to avoid it. He did an awesome job! I’ve used Billy the Sunshine Plumber before while remodeling, and always recommend them if someone is in need of a plumber.

Best Experience! When making my appt the receptionist was very friendly to start. I needed multiple things done and Dan and the apprentice were so nice and explained everything while they were doing the work. They got my Expansion tank replaced and garbage disposal installed in less than an hour at a very affordable price. I am so happy to find my new pluming company. A+

I was happy with the company before that is why I called them again, they did what they were supposed to do so I went out of town the same day when I came back and had a shower the shower was still clogged, I called them to resolve it but they said that on the receipt says the job is not guaranteed. The person that answered the phone could not care less and said they do the same with everybody. Think if you want to use a company that once they are out of your door and things were not resolved you will have to pay another fee. Very very disappointed. Will not use them again

Mark came highly recommended to me via a friend whose family has employed his services for many years. Joe, Joey, Ron and Mike spent the better part of a week replacing 60 ft of old Orangeburg sewer pipe. They explained every step of the process in advance and fully answered all of my many questions. I learned a lot about my plumbing system. They went above and beyond in preserving and restoring the xeriscaping, even adding additional mulch to replace what was unavoidably lost during the digging. They were very professional and considerate, and left everything clean. A friend referred me to Billy Sunshine Plumbing several years ago and I have used them exclusively ever since. Not only do they consistently provide excellent service and quality work, but they are a genuinely nice family! Highly recommend.

We had a bad plumbing issue where we couldn't use our shower or toilet. We called them last night and they had the on call tech call us back ASAP. J. R.called my husband and came right out to fix our issue. He was very respectful and even gave us advice on which toilet paper to use instead of the amazing Charmin. Charmin may be soft and good for your bum but not for the pipes after awhile. Thank you J. R for your help late at night.

I just had a faucet and drainage system replaced in my bathroom. The plumber (Greg) from Billy The Sunshine Plumber called me 30 minutes before he arrived and was such a professional. Greg was real plumber with 30 years experience, not an apprentice or a do-it-yourselfer. A REAL PLUMBER. Greg finished, did a great job that would have taken me all day in 20 minutes. Since Billy's was being payed by the hour (not by the job), I saved at least $200.00. My hats off to you Greg and Billy The Sunshine Plumber. They ROCK. You are welcome in my home anytime! Kudos.

Called to have two bathrooms hooked up and I guess who ever took the call only put down one. So the guy didn’t have enough parts to complete both. I already had to wait until the next week to have them come and now they want me to make another appointment. I work for a living and had to ask my boss to let me work from home that day, so now I have to ask for another day. Not to mention, I paid $210 for one bathroom because the parts cost $60 evidently. Spoke to someone who I guess handles complaints and he definitely didn’t care that I was frustrated. Also I saw someone say they charge by the half hour but the person I spoke to said they round up a full hour for 10 minutes.

Not sure how 2 minutes is quite a while and the “offer” I got was to make another appointment. (As I said above) Which I did decline, because why would I come back.
