Bird's Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack reviews
16Wait staff was incredibly rude and downright hateful! I am in the service industry and this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! ! Extremely slow service with wait staff walking by and not even glancing in our direction even though there were not even many people in our section. We all ordered burgers and all they were were big pieces of bland tasteless meat.
I was very pleased how they treated us being Florida State Seminoles fans. Can't wait to go back.
Oysters and service were awesome. The horseradish tasted like someone in the kitchen just ground it. Wonderfully tear jerking.
Fabulous grouper sandwich! You can't fit any more atmosphere in four walls. This old time Florida joint hasn't changed and shouldn't. It's my favorite grouper sandwich ever. Parking is limited so come early and enjoy great food and service.
Great food service and margaritta with an extra kick. Worth going out of the way to experience the food etc.
Surprisingly good!
On a game day when every other restaurant was packed, we walked into Bird's which had several tables available. That got us slightly nervous.
But we were in for such a treat! Though not a huge selection on the menu, each of our dish was cooked to perfection and so delicious! We enjoyed the food, the mimosas and had a wonderful time.
Good selection of beer as well.
We'll revisit if we're back in Tallahassee.
The service and the food (BYO burger and Oysters) were awesome. That wind tunnel of an A/C not so much.
Great little restaurant/bar. Oysters were very good, had them raw and steamed. Great menu options. Sandwiches and fries were delicious. Indoor and covered outdoor seating.
Had fried grouper sandwich, it was really good. Slightly under seasoned in my opinion, but better than over seasoned! PS don’t add pickles, it comes with one!
Had a great time! Delicious oysters and hamburger coupled with stand-up comedy. Servers were very nice but didn't seem to remember half the things we ordered.so we had to either re-order or remind them. Overall good experience though
A very local hangout. Simple and easy food, great drinks, and even better atmosphere/service. Would love to go back
Used to be my favorite spot until I went in on comedy night and black dudes talking bout crackers and disrespectful to whites.
The food was delicious. There were five of us. Two had the shrimp basket, shrimp big and tasty. One had the burger, which was huge, with onion rings. Another had 6 big raw oysters and a grouper sandwich. The last had a dozen steamed oysters. Our first time at Bird's and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be back.
I didn’t even get to eat there… we walked in as a group and didn’t even get a welcome. So we went to sit down and put a table together and the waiter rushed up and was absolutely unprofessional and had a meltdown about it.stating that it was a liability for us to move tables together and that it was disrespectful to come moving furniture of there’s, and we wouldn’t want him coming to our place moving our furniture. Bad vibes as soon as we walked in the down. Do not recommend if you aren’t from around there.
Worst customer service, everyone serving you had an attitude, we had a q hour wait, and when we asked for our oysters they said we haven’t ordered them and had an attitude all the time we were there. Never going back.
It's Tallahassee's best little spots for cold beer, mouthwatering oysters, and one of the best burgers in town.
