Biscayne National Park reviews
23This is a beautiful National Park opening right out into Biscayne Bay. There is no charge to get in. There’s a wooden walkway going to a tree covered Coral Jetty that you can walk out on very picturesque. There’s many fish to be seen including Hermit Crabs. Pelicans diving for fish. The visitors center is big and you can see movies about The Coral and the fish and animals that live there.
Very educational for the entire family. Peaceful and relaxing! They also have Snorkeling, cananoing, boat rides, and a lot more to name. Loved it!
Beautiful, well maintained. Did not visit islands but came to check it out. Will definitely return for kayaking.
We joined the tour to the main Island. It was such a paradise. I highly recommend that everyone should come here at least once. The ocean was unbelievable beauty.
Perfect weather for a boat day. The park is well-maintained, and people are helpful at the visitor's center.
We stopped at the Visitor Center to learn more about the Biscayne National park and which animals are in the water.
Very nice park! Mostly underwater, so you need to do some type of tour, but it is totally worth it! During the off season we were two of five on a 40-some passenger boat! A bit pricy but you get a tour and all the information you want and need from the rangers and volunteers. Remember bug spray and sunscreen!
Paradise! We went to boca Chita key. The little beach which forms only by coral and shells is like being isolated from human world. We just didn’t have more time, or we would finish all the tours. Don’t miss it when come to south corner of Florida!
Marvelous! At least spend a whole day in the park. You definitely need a boat. You can rent one or do a guide tour with companies that you can find online through the park website. Departures and meeting point for the National Park start at the Dante Fascell Visitor Center. Bring the snorkeling gear! So many incredible fishes in those crystal clear waters. The mangrove there is also amazing.
Nature. Can find interesting small creatures in the shallows behind Elliot key, good for little people
This is one of the best places in miami. You’ll need a boat to get to the lighthouse, but is worth it. The water is cristal clear. Lots of fishes and wild animals. We saw a few turtles and sharks. You can go there and swim and have lots of fun with your family and friends.
Took a walk and nice breeze along the shaded path to the end where we saw the little island surrounded by all kinds of birds. Visited in January.
Located in Biscayne Bay, this park at the north end of the Florida Keys has four interrelated marine ecosystems: mangrove forest, the Bay, the Keys, and coral reefs. Threatened animals include the West Indian manatee, American crocodile, various sea turtles, and peregrine falcon.
It has a great walking trail right next to the water. You walk for about 1/2 a mile before getting to the end where you can sit on the rocks and watch the ocean. It is lovely choice for a nature walk to recharge your soul.
Beautiful place. Good spot for a walk along the water. Take a jog, a walk or bring your fishing gear d enjoy. Watch the sunrise or sunset. Enjoy
Very, very helpful workers in the visitors center. Gave is tons of things to do in the park and other nation parks around. Great place to stop by
Beautiful park. Enjoyed day out on the water. Scuba location (place where there used to be a sunken ship) we were taken to was not very good.
Mosquito heaven out here on some days so bring your spray. Good fishing off the shore and there are benches for a picnic but not that many. Bathrooms are gross 90% of the time but it’s the closest place to go #2 to the sandbar.
Nice visitor center, and beautiful area. However, one needs to have a boat or take a tour to really get a good view of the park.
