BISTRO SOLEIL AT THE OLDE MARCO INN, Marco Island FL

Bistro Soleil has a lovely piano bar with a very talented piano player, Dan Vast. But prices are extremely high. We only treat ourselves to this lovely restaurant for special occasions.

Cute lovely atmosphere with live music and the friendliest staff! Service was personable, most courteous & surprised us with nice treats for our anniversary! Food was absolutely delicious & we will defined be coming back again next time we are visiting Marco Island again:)

Great food! Servers are very friendly and on top of everything! Robert was really kind, he was not our server but he did checked on us since our original server was a little busy at the beggining. Highly recommend!

Walked in and I thought the place was closed. Very dark and dim. But we were greeted and walked over to a brother area with 10 or so tables.

The service was good, and the food was excellent.

I had the onion soup and steak with frittes. Both very good. My wife got the shrimp over risotto and raved about it.

The best part was dessert. We got a chocolate molten cake, which normally I don't buy because they are so common at every restaurant, but wow, this one was the best I've ever had.

The food was amazing, our server Stan was super professional, and they served us past their business hours.

We chose Bistro Soleil for our 30 th Anniversary dinner. We enjoyed Charla's (our waitress) history and knowledge of the restaurant with stories of ghosts and books flying off shelves. She gave us an adventure from the past bringing us to owner's Denis and Lisa Meurgue. She had a marvelous way to explain all of the menu items making your mouth water. We enjoyed the piano player who had quite a following of locals who sang. Wonderful entertainment. We started with Red wine, then a Crab Cake appetizer, Mushroom soup, French Onion soup, fresh salad with homemade dressing. The Sea Bass was my husband's favorite, creamy, light, with unique flavor, the best he ever had. I agree because I tasted it too. The Bacon Wrapped Filet was delicious, with Potatoe wedges, carrots and green beens. Saving room for Chocolate Fondant Cake and Creme Brulee was a beautiful ending to a memorable night. We went here for our 48th Anniversary dinner on Friday night. The island was very quiet this week and there were maybe 12 other tables being served. Our waiter Roberto was excellent! My husband ordered the duck and said it was the best he has ever had. I ordered the 10 oz New York Strip which was cooked to perfection. A trip to the Piano Bar after dinner and the evening was complete.

Very disappointed in our experience after being here previously. Our server Seth started fine but disappeared midway through the meal. Food was very good from appetizers to entrees but he never returned to refill drinks or check in. Finally a manager/hostess came by and we expressed our frustration with the server never returning but she never offered any solution, just that she’d let him know. Such a bad experience considering the restaurant was mostly empty. No excuse for the lack of attention we received for the price charged. Sadly we won’t be back after management clearly didn’t want to help rectify situation.

Server was very knowledgeable with the menu, preparation and all our questions. Very high end dining.

This was a hidden gem (to us). We were on the south side of the island at the Hilton and ventured up there. Best move ever! You really need to visit this place for yourself. Just be prepared for a little bit of a wait, but you can do so at the piano bar with live music.

Another fabulous evening at Bistro Soleil! Our anniversary dinner was made so special beginning with the best Cucumber Martinis EVER! Brough to us by the most cheerful and joyous server. Then rich, smooth lobster bisque, fresh garden salads with their signature homemade dressing, yum! Next our entrées. The absolutely perfect and delicious sea bass for me and the equally perfect and delicious grouper for my "groom". We ended this fabulous meal with their delectable Creme Brule, (along with a very thoughtful "Happy Anniversary" cookie). How fortunate Marco Island is to have Denis & Lisa bring us a little bit France with their authentic French cuisine and charming ambiance. Thank you for making our Anniversary so very special.

Remember pre-covid when restaurants were classy, provided great service, great food, and were properly staffed? Welcome to Bistro Soleil. The positive experience starts when you talk to the owner by phone to make your reservation. She's friendly, helpful and learns exactly what you want to have a great night out.

Our reservation was for 7pm, we walked in and were immediately taken to our table. The service was attentive, food great, and prices reasonable.

All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and absolutely will return.

Just absolutely delectable. We came here for our thanksgiving dinner with the price fixe menu and it was out of this world, every course was amazing! Service was also outstanding. Wish I could have explored the place a little more… so many interesting rooms and decor!

I'm giving this a 3 stars because of the service, not the food. The food was excellent the service was pathetic. We went to a birthday celebration and our waitress was a hot mess. Forgot to bring our drinks (30 min wait) forgot half the things we asked for. And it wasnt because of being understaffed, they had plenty. Then our bill came and it wasn't itemized so I asked for an itemized recipt to find out we were over charged on 2 things, way overcharged. The other tables were complimenting there waiters and ours was missing most of the night. We ended up asking the other wait staff for bread, water, our bill, etc. For the price we paid management really needs to step up the service.
