BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse reviews
15Service was fast and right on point, no problems. GREAT menu and beer selection with a full bar. Food was brought to the table hot and cooked well. We didn't have to wait at all to be seated. Tables and the restaurant were clean. The kids' menu was actually really varied for them with kids' favorite foods. Portions are definitely generous. Expect for adult meals with a non alcoholic drink to be around 20 dollars per person. The server was so pleasant and kind, always making sure we had what we needed.
I had a really good time here. They treated the little girl I was with so sweetly, bringing her a special treat. They were also completely slammed the night we went. The wait staff was really good and knew the menus really well.food was great, and the pazookie that I'd never had before in my life was soooo good. I had a great time.
Got a salmon dinner to go, live 22 miles from restaurant. The steamed broccoli was raw which ruined my granddaughter’s meal.
Our server neda was amazing, but we were so heart broken about the monkey bread pizookie being gone that’s one of the main reasons we come to bjs. Needs to be brought back immediately.
Had a great time. Let the waiter know we were traveling and he did a great job speeding up our service
Everyone in our 6 member family loved the food! The waiters and waitresses were very kind and patient with our very bold and needy 6 year olds requests.
Drinks are so good and we recommend the Casamingos Watermelon Margarita!
It was our first time trying this restaurant. My husband got the sirloin with baked potato and chili. I got the lunch special with a vegetarian pizza and salad. The waitress was very quick and nice. It was quite busy, but they were very punctual with everything. The food was really delicious. We tried the Hefenweizen draft, and it was really good. Definitely plan to make it one of our places when we visit Gainesville
ADDENDUM:
You actually did everything right: Outstanding selection of beers, friendly service, fine food. Good 5 stars!
UNTIL NOW:
Highly recommended place to eat and enjoy beer. The beer selection is evening-filling and delicious! The food is very fine (also the quantity very sufficient) and just as I wished. My waiter was very diligent and friendly. Top: There is an uncomplicated online payment option.
The visit is worth it!
We've been going to BJs since they did half price when Gators play. It's gotten very expensive. 11$ for a drink, $15 for a mini pizza? We just can't afford it anymore.
All the orders arrived late (45 min) at different time, they forgot a couple of them and we had to remind them.
For the check we had to wait another our, because the did a mess
Expensive, It doesn’t worth it, I won’t comeback
Food was great.friendly staff. And you cant go wrong witha piezookie
**update**
We got seated right away. Our waiter is excellent, great appetizer, great atmosphere. Great food, what more can you ask for thank you. They have daily specials, some look Really good. We're coming back to try it again.
I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. I was told it had to be remade for some reason, when it came out the chicken was hot but my sides were cold. Waitress was too busy with so many other tables that she could not be attentive enough to notice when we needed something. When she did come around we would have to ask her multiple times for the same items because she forgot them. Very disappointing for Father's Day. We purposely came on Saturday afternoon to beat the crowds and have a pleasant experience, which was not the case.
It’s a shame, because this could be a great restaurant.
The server was awesome.
What wasn’t good was the food and the wait time.
I have been in here four times prior and every single time we will wait a long time for our food. 2 times up to 40 minutes for 2 salads. I understand there are more people in the restaurant but us, but when they are literally five other tables?
Not sure what happened here, but I did come back to give this restaurant a couple of chances.
$17 for a pitiful chicken, Caesar salad. Well, our server was really good.
Response to management.
Thank you for your fast reply. I’m not sure anything can be done about the prices from management, but I feel we all know, $17 for a salad the size of a side is a bit much.
Update new visit 7/09/23
Still a good place.
Update, 3/23/23
Still a good place.
Parm crusted chicken, mashed, steamed broccoli.
Ahi tuna salad,
All very good.
Waiter "seth" very attentive,
Good stable chain restaurant.
Never been disappointed
Service was great. Unfortunately the guac we ordered was completely brown, all the way threw each layer. The beer was surprisingly flat as well. The dinners were solid, if not spectacular. Had the bowl and tri-tip, not a lot of meat with it but not awful. My dad enjoyed his brew house chicken. His mashed potatoes were good! Kinda meh overall though.
