BJ's Wholesale Club, Tampa FL

This place has had ups and downs, sometimes I meet super cold and quick tempered employees and other visits I'll meet the nicest employees. The store itself always seems fully stocked. The only time was when the pandemic first hit I ever saw bare shelves. The do have some items that are always low but I did notice that someone ordered another pallet of the Essentia water brand I get and that was great because it was constantly out and I was about to complain. It's nice to know some manager is doing their job and trying to meet demand for this product. The customer service table is usually filled with angry older women except for one Hispanic woman that was so sweet and didn't mind helping me at all. Most cashiers look like they'd rather be anywhere else than there but they do their job well and usually I don't have a problem. There are some super nice ones though and they definitely make you feel special. Overall it's a good location that I frequent.

Horrible service
Just got the membership and went to get some
cheese and ham
The guy who was working in the deli didn’t even pay attention to me and was packing the chicken when I nicely asked him to give me some cheese
He looked at me and said we gotta pack everything
The time was 6: 53
After that I came to the manager and asked to get some cheese
She said that the deli have to be completely pack and done at 7
Make working hours that your deli closes at 6: 30 so people won’t be driving all the way to your horrible store were u also pay for membership
Even horrible Walmart sounds like a better option
Don’t get the membership at this place

The only sweet lady was Zana who was checking receipts at the exit
Raise her and make her a manager!

I have tried to call the last few days and no one answers. Why have a phone number for the store if no one answers?

I am coming to bj's WHOLESALE and I want to buy all the clorox (no limitation on this item) and the manager told me they can't sell me all that. Why? I will pay for that. Is it a wholesale store? I am paying my member ship and I can't buy what I want. Store number 183 supervisor's name Kara

WORST Experience EVER!
FRAUDULENT, MISLEADING, items NOT for sale but listed to get you to come in. BAIT and SWITCH.

No carts available. You have to get your own cart from parking lot and then in the middle of the only walkway into the store stop and clean it yourself while you’re blocking all the people behind you. The floor is slippery from all the spray. The sink that’s provided by the door to wash her hands after you’ve cleaned your cart has no paper towels and no soap.

Your online response is terrible - I put in all my info for a set of new tires and all I got was a location. I needed tire type & prices

My wife and I love coming here. We are able to save hundreds when we come. The membership price is not as expensive as other wholesale businesses in the area. We are always treated with great customer service at this location. Coming here reminds us of being back home in Massachusetts. Thank you very much for the wonderful service. We will keep coming back. Thanks again!

Quon did an awesome job. The air pump at the gas station was not working so I went over to the shop, and asked if they could check the air pressure in my tires he did, and informed me of each tires pressure. The last place I got tired from over inflated the two front tires. He corrected all 4 tires air pressure. Couldn't ask for better service

I’m giving 5 stars because the store itself nor the rest of the staff have any fault at this. However. The lady in the front SANDY D I believe is her name. Is rude as rude can be! Nasty, no customer service skills, and was rude to my children. We walked in about 20 minutes before closing time literally to grab toilet paper only. She literally told us as we walked in “we are closing in 20 minutes, hurry up because I’m tired and I wanna go home” we told her we’d be quick and proceeded to pick up what we needed.

As we walked out she said “hurry up! ” “I wanna leave y’all are taking too long” we asked for her name and left. Apparently, she must’ve said the same thing to the customers behind us because we heard them exchange some words and not nice ones.

We didn’t appreciate that lack of customer service as we entered. It simply makes someones shopping experience a negative one.

Very good customer service.the best, very fast service, they have many items, clean, many employees and good prices; except in the membership I think it could be cheaper, but otherwise excellent!

The management is so unprofesioal when a manager female was approched and told that a cutomer was allergic to cats the manager a female thru her hands in the air and laughed then walked away there are more situations bont shop there black mold has been reported in the past near the freezers i dont shop there any more also check experation dates from cooler dont trust them the deli brea d expies in a day or too

I don't shop at these discount warehouses that much, just a few times a year. I went to this location last week and went shopping for a few bulk items that I needed for the week along with some seafood items. On this visit I saw a display with 2 for 1 bags of Lays Potato chips. They were very big bags and I am only buying for myself, so I thought just like any other "buy 2 get 1 free" sale, I will just buy one and loose out on the savings. I think 2 bags for 6 something. Wrong, lady at checkout made me feel like a criminal snatching the bag from my hand after I told her I didn't need 2 bags, and I just wanted to purchase just the one. It even has a unit price on the bag of 5 something witch I was happy to pay. If a single bag sale wasn't allowed, why are they not packaged as so like other items? Why is the unit price on the bag marked for single sale? I wasn't going to stand there and make a scene, I am just going to not renew my membership and try some of the other warehouses to see if they are more friendlier and do things in a more feasiable mannor. Also the shopping center that this location is in feels like a ghost town. Hopefully they will bulldoze the area down soon and put something nicer here.

This is our normal BJs, we hit it about every other week or so. It's always clean, well stocked, and easy to get in and out.they have folks giving out food samples normally. They also have a tire shop, liquor store and gas station towards one side. Tons of parking

It a bargain to shop here.they have quality items for much less then other wholesale places. I would definitely recommend this place.you must try it out.

I am a frequent shopper at Bj's on April 5th, 2018. I went shopping at Bjs which was a pleasant experience inside of the store. However, once I went over to the to the Propane section to get a refill on propane that is when my experience with Bjs turned bad. I got out of my vehicle and went inside to get my propane tank refilled and I spoke a gentlemen who told me to put the tank by the propane station. I ask the gentlemen after he refill the propane tank could he put the tank in the vehicle and he told he would. Then he filled the tank and walked away. This did not put the tank in my vehicle at all. However, when a Caucasian man approach the propane area the same gentlemen was all smiles and talking to this gentlemen. When I went back inside of the propane area to speak with someone else. I ask the another at the cash register the name of the guy who was providing me service he started laughing and told me that he is not going to give me the other gentlemen name. Then the other gentlemen inside of the propane area came outside with the other guy and they both started laughing at me together. My sister was with me at the time and she witness everything. I reported both of these men to management and nothing was done. I feel that these two (2) gentlemen are prejudice and they should not be working for Bjs at all. I am happy with shopping in the store. However, I will never get propane from this store again. Bjs should not hire prejudice people. African Americans please share your experience if you encounter the same treatment from the propane section at Bjs.

After getting a free 3 month membership all these people with good reviews obviously have never been to Costco it's like night and day. BJ's have the rudest most miserable employees. Costco's employees are so much better.think about it Costco never gives out free memberships and BJ's begs you to join with free memberships.that says it all!

With great gratitude we want to talk about the excellent service in the store, especially want to mention the Phil (meat department). He helped us find the cross of our son. Thanks Bj's, that such sympathetic, understanding and benevolent people work here.

This has to be one of the worst TIRE CENTERS that I have been to in FL. The front desk rep had a serious attitude, refused to look up my old order, would not assist with mounting my spare and told me that I need to move my vehicle.

Nice place! Good variety! Plenty of Latin American favorites! However, they need to correct the name for their latin american foods section from “Mexican” to Latin American, tequeños are venezuelan, tostones are caribbean, cheese bread is brazilian etc
