The struggles and challenges of black men are well documented and are often overlooked. Which causes us to be silent about depression, anxiety, addiction, traumas, and fears. No more is this an issue with such a renown therapist as Mr. Baker. He listens empathetically then offers solutions that are ideal and tailored for the client to get to and maintain mental health. He assisted me with a family member that needed assistance readjusting to society after being incarcerated for nine years. What an assist Mr. Baker! It was wonderful collaborating with Merland during our panel experience bringing both sides, female and male, African American perspective as therapist to the table. We were able to educate the audience about mental health and the stigma's that prevent our community from accessing mental health. Merland's knowledge and exercise demonstration was excellent and drew in the audience. I can't wait to get out there and educate more areas of our community.
