Black Point Ocean Grill reviews
12The location is great, the view beautiful, the waiting staff attentive, Drinks were very nice, went 2 nights in a row with group of 15, the only issue most of us had was that the food was salty (fish, lobster bisque), and was spicy (rice, bean) my last issue is that anyone that puts raw cabbage in tacos as a filler is a definite 1 star, make a proper taco with warm tortillas or take off menu, I'm giving more because of the first 4 categories (after 2 meals I was as swollen as a pufferfish)
I can't give it 5 stars because my guests felt that the margaritas were awful and a simple quesadilla was also just terrible. I enjoyed my fish and chips and the Romain wedge was great. It's really nice to be able to sit by the water and watch the boats go by. It's not too loud, so you can chill and chat. We had high expectations for the food, so we were a bit disappointed. If you go for the view and a few beers, you will enjoy it!
Excellent server! My party came in with 20+ people and Roger B was the only server attending to us. I was skeptical, but he took care of ALL of us in a timely and accurate manner! Kudos to Roger B! I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the kitchen staff! The food came out quickly and was VERY GOOD! Blackpoint Marina's Restaurant staff and management are superb! 10/10 recommend!
Very good today; my husband had flash fried Mahi-Mahi with slaw and French fries, I had blackened dolphin rueben which includes grilled marble sandwich bread, fish, coleslaw, cheese, sauce, also served with French fries. Definitely looking forward to next time! (PS although signs are everywhere that the Imperial beers are $5, we were charged $5.50 - not a big deal, but.)
In general is a 5 stars time we spent there with friends. Although it surprised me how close to each other we all were, after all, the place is open and with plenty of of running air. The food to me was 6 stars! Also moderate prices.
We had conch fritters for appetizers. Delicious. Unfortunately the main dish arrived at the same time.
Third or fourth time there will return for sure
Terrible service! ; make sure you take receipt … they added extra tip in my check, when I contacted Restaurant, I was told it was "system" error.please! SCAMMERS!
Great place to come on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Very tasty seafood. Good service. Waterfront eating.
This was our first time at this place. I have to say the service was excellent, the prices great and the food was amazing. The only improvement I would make is they a mist fan for these extremely hot days.
On a pleasant day, outside and social distancing observed, our meal was excellent, service friendly, overlooking the ocean. Excellent.
Excellent place for seafood.oysters, class, mussels, fish dip, margaritas and beers.and also you see dolphins at the sunset
Shrimp Po Boy was it for me, also noted is their chicken fingers and fries. We also got a side of their pasta just to try it.
It’s an outside bar and a marina. It’s pretty busy in the weekends but they’re really quick and getting you in and situated. Seriously good food, would go again. A bit of a drive from Miami but it’s not too bad. Pretty easy to find once you park.
