Black Rock Bar & Grill - Tampa

This is a really unique resteraunt. The food was fantastic and the service was great. This restaurant is a must. You'll love it.

It's a great place to switch up from traditional served meals since you cook your own steak and can get other meals served on superheated lava rocks. But the place itself gets really smoky from the cooking meats so if anyone has asthma or breathing problems just be advised it may be best to bring an inhaler to help with that.

Trevor was a great server. Had the steak and shrimp excellent choice. My wife loved the Black Rock martini!

Awesome food and service. Cook your own steak just the way you like it, there's now chance of the kitchen messing up your fillet.
They bring a 700° rock to the table and explain thoroughly the process involved. Great place for a date or a group of friends. Deserts are top notch and large enough for two or three.

The manager Jadye is very rude. The director of operations tried to send to send people to jail because his company didn't want to do their jobs.
If you are black please don't eat here as the company nor the food is worth the money.

It would be great if the servers newer Pacific rocks for from that you're cooking with also of the hostess had more information about specials had no clue

We visited the Carrolwood location on Sat June 23rd. First time guests. We ate at the bar and were warmly greeted by Scott, Cassidy and Raquel. Ordered some drinks iand they then explained how things worked with the stone. All 3 were extremely helpful and made great selections for us to try. Meal was good, atmosphere was delightful and bar staff was friendly and helpful. Well be back for sure.

Went in blind, completely not what we were expecting, but we had a lot of fun! Great food and a fun experience. Thanks to our server Trevor for showing us how it’s done

Where do I start? Food portion was too small, and the prices are too high for what they serve. Waited 45 minutes for our food to be served. They keep the temperature of the restaurant low, too cold. Had to get up and look for the waiter. Not to mention, two of us were drenched in water since the rookie waiter spilled the whole ice water on the table, on us and on our cell phones. There were no apologies, like this is all normal to happen! Very poor service. I would not want to go there any more!
