Blackbird Comics & Coffeehouse, Maitland FL

The girlfriend and my first time visiting and found the collection of comics good, gf had a chocolate milk that was good but not great, and the other half had some jewlerry and smelly soaps that she enjoyed. Atmosphere and the workers were helpful and nice. Will be a place I will return to on the regular I think.

P. S. Be mindful of the first step into the entrance of the little strip mall it's not a big step but one that blended well enough I didn't even notice a step and fell on my face.

Amazing coffee shop! Super cool staff, truly great drinks, and a really expansive comic collection. Don't miss the Chai, it's really great.

I.n. C.r. E.d. I.b. L.e! They have everything a little geeky/nerdy heart could ever want My wife and I got tea and coffee. Both we're every bit as fantastic tasting as the description implied. We both found comic books and also enjoyed playing one of their board games that you can rent. This place was recommended to me by my local comic book shop owner when I mentioned we would be attending Hollywood horror nights and I'm so happy he did! It was definitely another highlight of our trip. The owners and staff are super cool, knowledgeable and helpful. The selection is incomparable

Blackbird Comics & Coffeehouse is a hidden gem in Maitland! I didn’t even know this place existed until recently, and I am so happy I finally found out about it! This place has such a unique vibe that I’ve not seen anywhere else - the minute we walked in it felt like we teleported to a comic book shop in the 80s! There were comic books and old records everywhere…you could almost get lost in all of it! But it really did have an awesome design.

We didn’t come for the comic books - we came for their coffee. And man, do they have some awesome coffee, teas, and lotus energy drinks! Seriously, if you don’t read comics at all and are only interested in a good coffee/snack shop, this is still entirely worth visiting. Their limited-time May coffees and teas were so unique! We got the Shell Shock, which was cold brew with chocolate, caramel, toffee, and a cream cheese top - think of a way better version of a mocha with the best cheese foam you’ve ever had on top. It was a full dessert and easily one of the best coffees we ever had. We also got The Gaby, which was an iced Earl grey tea with lavender and lemonade to make it an Arnold Palmer - again an EXCELLENT drink! The lavender elevated the Arnold Palmer to the next level. So good!

And finally, we got a tomato/mozzarella pesto sandwich as a snack. You can get their sandwiches either half or full-size and do NOT forget about these! They are amazing! The bread is so much better than almost any other sandwich shop bread I’ve ever had before. The pesto one is something I could literally have every day. All in all, this is a fantastic, 5-star coffeehouse that is totally worth visiting! We will be back many more times to try out their lotus energy drinks, different sandwiches, and more coffee drinks! Blackbird is the best!

This is my favorite spot to work remotely. It's comfortable and quiet with a great cafe.

I stopped here on the way to work to pick up some coffee, and if you’ve read my other reviews, you’ll gather that I’m a coffee lover and enjoy exploring to find great coffee spots.
This one is particularly unique because of the comic book selection and decor. But, this place has a great ambiance and feel whether you’re into comic books or just looking for a cool, quiet spot to enjoy a great cup of coffee.
The staff is very friendly from the second you walk through the door up until the time you receive your cup of love.
I highly recommend checking this place out as its atmosphere is an experience in its own!

Went to Blackbird on a whim and was so pleasantly surprised. It’s such a cute coffee shop- they have tons of comics, books, vinyl, games, some crystals and other metaphysical stuff. It’s a cozy atmosphere with comfortable seating. The coffee is fantastic and the baristas are so kind and more than willing to make a drink to your specifications. Prices are very reasonable. The owners are kind and knowledgeable. Overall great experience.

Fantastic seasonal peach tea drink on deck! The store has a fantastic vibe where I feel I could sit for hours. The fact that you can rent their board games is a super cool innovative idea. Great music and a fantastic selection of manga and comics.

I come here regularly now sometimes twice a week. I love the coffee and food here as well as the welcoming atmosphere.
My favorite seasonal coffee is the twist of Cain and I highly recommended it if you’re a pistachio fan. The sandwiches are well thought out and generous portions. Prices are justified

Loved it. Had the caprese sandwich and added a bit of ham with a perfect latte. Met and spoke with some interesting people. Staff was great. There was a comic signing and several games being played from the two walks of board games available to rent.
Gonna go back soon.

The batistas are very knowledgeable about their coffee and have great recommendations! It has such a relaxed environment. I love going to look at their comics and Funko Pops!

OMO.this place is great! When you first walk in there's a snap a pic frame for selfies, yes it impressed me.

They have so many types of comics, books, toys and pop toys. You can hangout and play games or even sit and embroider.

We ordered teas and lunch. The pork sliders and my caprese sandwich was so flavorful and the cheese, it was a cheesy pull.
Come for the food but stay for the ambiance. They cook your meal to order, no microwave, and brew your tea. It's so good and they change the menu regularly!

People were playing games, embroidering, looking at comic books and just having fun.
