Bladez Barbershop, Port Charlotte FL

The lady I worked with did not do anything I asked her to. I came in with a full head of curly hair and I told her I wanted the sides to be trimmed a little bit. I especially specified that I did not want it cut super short on the sides or look "buzzed". The first thing that she did was grab a razor and cut all of my hair off from the back to the sides. And buzzed them completely. I then told her to stop and that the top of my hair looked good enough but she insisted and kept cutting the top of my hair. I told her prior to the haircut that I wanted the top long enough that it would cover my forehead and I could shake it side to side. I even showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did the exact opposite. She cut my hair so short that it's not even curly anymore. And I can't shale it at all. It doesn't even go to my forehead. This woman should not be a barber because she does not listen to her customers she does what she believes is right and no regard foe the people she serves. I did not come into this barbershop to be a piece of clay to her pottery. I wanted what I wanted and I got nothing but embarrassment and a failure of a haircut. I will never come back to this shop ever again while this woman still works their. I don't remember her name bur she is an old woman with red-ish hair. She is the only old woman that was working there. She even asked ME after the haircut was over if $18 was the price! I am the customer! How would I know the price. I've read other reviews and it turns out that people have the exact same problem as me! This woman just does what she thinks is right with your head and doesn't consider what you told her to do. Im sure that some other employees might be better but they were skipping people who had appointments and had been waiting for a long time. I walked in and they instantly sat me down over this woman who had been waiting for 20 minutes! If you come into this shop and she is assigned as your barber, do not give them your money. It is not worth it.

The place is very clean and the staff is very professional love this place! And Crystal gav me a amazing haircut! ️

I was looking for a new place where they could cut my son’s hair but I was very disappointed. The lady who cut my son’s hair messed him up very badly. My son was crying on our way home. I will never come back to this place!

Horrible time management, called at 11: 00 am and asked about availability, was told 15 minutes by connie, drove to bladez, waited for previous customer then asked about my appointment and was told she didn’t remember me calling (15 minutes ago) then she looked at her log book and remembered, she asked if I could wait cause another customer had been waiting since before I called (they open at 11: 00 am I called at 11: 01am) I said I can’t because I have to be somewhere around 12: 30, she gave me the shoulder shrug and I said never mind have a good day, wast of time for me, definitely lost a customer here

Horrible experience, horrible hair cut no shape at all and owner is an unprofessional rude human!

JM was above and beyond got get me looking great for my wedding thank you will be coming back for sure.

Connie is wonderful. She takes her time and makes sure that you get an even cut.

Nikki is the best barber there, she’s professional with great customer service skills. If you want a legit barber go see her! She’s also great with kids, she definitely has the patience to make them look amazing!

I've been going to Bladez for years! Never ever in my life have I received such awful treatment! I used to use another barber who had to leave town for personal issues. Today I had to make an appointment with JM. When I arrived, he never acknowledged me. Now mind you, I've been a loyal, strong-tipping customer for years. When my appointment time came, he took someone in front of me still without acknowledging me. I had to ask him why, and he got defensive saying he's a half an hour behind. I'm sorry, but that's not excuse! Then, I waited for my turn, and he sent the receptionist out to tell me he can't fit me in! AWFUL, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! THEY LOST MY BUSINESS FOR GOOD!

I took my autistic 10 year old son for a haircut because he was comfortable having it cut here. Checked in at 1: 00.1: 30 came and went as so did several walk In customers past us. Asked what the point of a sign in sheet was if they were just skipping the names on the list. What a joke.

I have been a loyal customer of Bladez for about 5 years now, JM has been my barber and does a great job for me! Not to mention the staff is always friendly and inviting when i come in! Thank You for the for the warm and friendly atmosphere and being clean and professional, I look forward to many more years of coming into Bladez!

My grandson (age 7) had his haircut by Crystal. She is very patient, and gave my grandson a great haircut!

My boyfriend got his hair cut here years ago and we shouldve known to never go back. JM, the alleged manager, cut his hair totally unevenly.when we tried to get him to even it out.he blamed it on the lights.one side blatantly has more hair and he wasnt able to blend in the back.he was itching his nose the whole time and was telling stories a million miles an hour.do they drug test their employees?

Connie was amazing. Totally understood what I wanted and delivered to my expectations! She also understands that some customers, like me, just want to get groomed without all the chit chat. Best haircut I have gotten in FL, after arriving from NYC almost three years ago. Connie is my permanent hair stylist going forward. Thank you so much Connie! Sam

Not worth coming here, if you want a brutally murdered haircut besides the one you asked for

First time at Bladez. Vicky did an awesome job cutting my hair and took the time to make sure it was not a chop job like some of these other establishments. I will definitely be back. Thank you Vicky!

Very good barber shop, they know how to cut hair. Cody cut mine last time and did a great job. I would highly recommend.

Not to happy with this place. I tried 2 different barbers and both times my hair has been uneven on the sides and top was different lengths
