Blessings Kitchen reviews
8This fuel station sold me gas that was 80% water. From pump number 4,93 octane. The clerk refused to even talk to me about it. My car broke down 1/4 mile after getting the fuel. This happened on August 6th 2021
The privately owned gas station is a dying aspect of Americana but Blessings is keeping it alive in Lutz. Does it have a limited selection? Kinda but the guys working there is the nicest man you will meet at a gas station. Are the pumps state of the art? No but I enjoy supporting a local business so that maybe, if others do as well, they can upgrade. Does the car wash work? No and honestly I don’t know why. Will stopping here save your soul? Maybe. Easy stop on 41 for your fuel needs and you can support a local!
It’s reassuring to know that there are still some good people out there! Yesterday I had an issue with my car and had to pull over to a small business owned gas station/convenience store (BLESSINGS KITCHEN) here in Lutz. The owner couldn’t have been any nicer. He went out of his way to help me and did it out of the goodness of his heart. He could have sold me this and that but instead he arranged for his friend help me.
We get gas there occasionally but after seeing how sincerely kind the owner was.we will be getting gas there more often!
I like to support small business especially ones that are friendly & in my town of Lutz, FL.
Thank you Lee @ Blessing’s Cafe Kitchen & gas (Hwy 41 just south of Sunset Lane)
This is a nice change from the cookie-cutter convenience stores on every other corner. I don't know if it is family-owned but it feels that way. The staff makes you feel welcome and appreciated. If you like to support small businesses try shopping here.
My favorite lil corner store ever!
Everyone here are blessed souls, the nicest people you'll ever meet! Hence is why the name of the place is so befitting
First off, the food at the Blessings Kitchen is great. However, the delivery is inconsistent.
My first issue with this place - they do not have a consistent schedule or hours. I have come in on three different occasions for breakfast to be told "Oh, she's off today. " Not sure how a business expects to attract regulars with this type of schedule. We live literally around the corner and would visit much more often of we didn't expect walk in to an empty kitchen.
Second issue - when they are open, they are sold out of almost everything. I've gone through and tried to order about half their menu a few times. The answer to everything besides biscuits and gravy is "We're sold out. " Are you really sold out? Or did you not even prep those items that day? I guess I'll never have that waffle from Blessings Kitchen, because they are perpetually sold out of them.
Great biscuits and gravy, but I'll never be back because I've been disappointed too many times. Hope the Kitchen can fix these issues for their other customers before it is too late - I guarantee I'm not the only one frustrated by this.
Don't eat the hot dogs! Everything else is good! I go there almost daily, one day I noticed the hot dogs looked sickly on the rotator and i was suspicous it had been there awhile. So I decided to poke a hole in one of them and see how long it was their. That hot dog with the hole on it was on the roller for 4 days.
