10Cages for egg-laying hens are so small and packed with birds that the hens can’t move or spread their wings. Often, their body parts are caught in the caging, resulting in fractured or broken bones, deformities, and severe feather loss. Some hens, exhausted or unable to move, are trampled to death by their cage mates. Those that don’t die from the abuse spend their miserable lives trapped with dead birds at their feet. You are failing at animal welfare! It is time to show responsibility and to adopt a global cage-free egg policy, now!
Bloomin says they care about animal welfare but they're one of the worst companies in the country on these issues and won't do the first thing to protect the animals they use from extreme cruelty. Shame.
Still fails to achieve or even work towards basic animal welfare standards (cage free policy). Would not recommend.
Bloomin' Brands supports keeping hens in tiny cages that are so small they can't spread their wings. Why would any company do this in 2022? It's such an outdated and cruel practice, I'm so disappointed that they're still doing this.
Please stop the use of battery cages in your supply chain and adopt a global cage-free egg commitment! The animal abuse in your supply chain has to stop
Bloomin´ Brands don´t care about animal welfare, they only care about getting profits from animal suffering! They don´t want to buy cage free eggs!
