Rooms weren't so great at all, multiple issues throughout our stay, thankfully it was to try out the possibility of buying 'timeshare' ownership and we decided not for us, so at least we know now we won't be returning to that location in the future. Friendly staff, except for a couple people that seemed annoyed with some questions. Miniature golf, life size chess, and the extras like that were definitely the lowest quality of anyone we've stayed. The view was beautiful, location was great, and closer to lots.

The resort was fine, they are in the middle of construction so the fitness room in my building wasn’t available and the rooms need work but it looks like they are making improvements soon. The laundry in the breckenridge building was not good, 1 of the washers didn’t work and same with the dryer (they only had 4 total) and was a huge pain. We went to the building next door and the dryers wouldn’t take our money so we had to go 2 doors down and pay for dryers when it was supposed to be included at our building.

Rooms, hotel great. Clean, comfortable and safe. Only had one working elevator on the side of hotel we were at which was inconvenient at times. Although it made me get some very badly needed exercise by using stairs.

Check-in smooth, room had a beautiful gulf front view. Apparently blue green offers 2 double beds only and we prefer one king. Property is well kept! Night time outdoor entertainment near the lit fire pits & comfortable seating created a nice atmosphere. Overall an enjoyable stay.

What a DUMP! The Breckenridge building is where we stayed. My brother has a blue green membership so the rooms were cheap. From the obviously leaking roof, with high powered blowers in the halls, baseboards pulled off, to construction workers using the luggage carts to move their supplies, this place was awful! Top it off there was a palmetto bug wheels up in front of the refrigerator. Horrid!

Incredibly disappointed with my stay!
We were not told about flooding that occurred on our floor before we arrived. Not given any options to change rooms. Most of our floor was changed to different floor and we were forced to stay on a floor that was getting the carpets ripped up with dryers blasting 24/7. My mom has asthma and has not been feeling well during this stay (probably due to the wet carpet and mold). No one at the actual hotel can/will help you. If they are selling you something they are nice, but unwilling to help you.

Had a great time here. Absolutely recommend! The zip line and slide was used over and over. Pool was great, games at the pool were fun. Employees were excellent, especially David at the check in desk for Blue Green. Couldn't be a friendlier person!

Beautiful garden paths. They have inner water way going around the place that you can take paddle boats on. The restaurant near the beach has excellent food

Rooms are ready for a refresh. Some remodeling is in progress, but I'm not sure if it includes the rooms. Things have definitely changed in the last 7 years. No paper towels, no free bottled water, less outdoor entertainment, etc. That said, I still love this place!

The hotel is on the first line to the Bay, but it is under renovation and construction.
We stayed in a room with 2 beds and both mattresses and pillows were kind of old and uncomfortable. The room had a little kitchenette with a microwave and small refrigerator. However the service was great, especially at the beach. One can reserve a cabana for a whole day. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The hotel has parking lot so you can rent a car if needed.

Very nice resort. Several pools to choose from. Right on the beach. Great views of the Gulf. Amazing sunsets. Food and drinks are good but very pricey.

Great outside venues with the beach, cabanas, many pools, and recreational activities. Rooms are dated and need repair and updating. The rooms are not up to the standard of other Bluegreen properties. Our A/C was working poorly in one bedroom. We called maintenance, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. We later figured out that only one fan in the unit was working when there should have been at least three. The beds were uncomfortable, and the mattresses needed to be replaced. There is a microwave, a small refrigerator, a small sink, and a coffee maker, but no real kitchen. The restaurants tend to be expensive. Our rooms were not ready at check-in time (so much for being a platinum member).

Our family had an absolutely amazing experience at Tradewinds, and it's so much more than just a hotel; it's a lifestyle that offers an array of fantastic activities and experiences that cater to all ages.

First and foremost, the ability to swim in the pool in December was a delightful surprise. It's a testament to the resort's commitment to providing a year-round vacation destination. The heated pool allowed us to enjoy the water even during the cooler months, which is a rare treat.

But that's just the beginning of the fun. Tradewinds offers a wide range of activities that ensure there's never a dull moment. Mini golf, zip-lining, paddle boating – these activities are not just enjoyable but also Instagram-worthy, making your social media posts envy-inducing.

One of the highlights of our stay was the movie in the pool, a unique and unforgettable experience. Floating in the pool under the starry Florida night sky, watching a film, was magical.

And let's not forget the beach and the giant waterslide – it's a kids' paradise. The endless stretches of sandy shores provide hours of fun in the sun, and the exhilarating waterslide adds an extra layer of excitement.

The icing on the cake was the opportunity to enjoy s'mores over a beach campfire with friends. It's the perfect way to bond with loved ones, share stories, and create lasting memories.

Our stay at Tradewinds was truly a memorable family vacation. The combination of activities, amenities, and beautiful beachfront location made it effortless to have incredible, easy-going family vacation days. We returned home with a treasure trove of experiences and memories that we'll cherish for a lifetime.

This is a time share scam. They bring you down and put you in a dumpy motel and then show you their “grand hotel”. They want to sell you time shares for 45000 average package. More than my house payment. No thanks!

Predatory sales staff sold us a points program in 2014. The points were worthless, never enjoyed a vacation of any kind. It took attorneys to get out of the contract in 2018. Horrible!

When my husband and I were scheduling our vacation, we read many positive and negative reviews about Tradewinds. We stayed at Breckenridge which is going through a renovation. The construction was never an issue for us. There are billboards showing what the plans are and has made us excited to return.
Our room had a beautiful beach front view where we could see the hustle and bustle of activity on the beach. We were able to see a thunderstorm move across the water and the lightening that hit the water in the distance was beautiful! The kitchenette area was fully stocked and was very useful. The environmental service staff was always helpful and friendly when we asked for replacement items.
The staff does a great job outside also keeping the resort clean and organized. They were out before sunrise cleaning and getting activities ready for the visitors. The cabana crew were very kind. They would lead us to our cabana, bring a pole to hold the shade in place and bring us each a comfy cushion.
During the day we spent hours finding beautiful shells on the beach and swimming in the warm water. It was a very laid-back beach atmosphere with friendly local residents. There are also many amazing pools to enjoy.
Tradewinds offers many activities. We took a ride on the lazy river in a paddle boat, played ping pong and made sea glass jewelry. If pickleball is your thing, there are some very nice courts edged with beautiful landscaping. There is a jet ski rental group that is fun. The day we rented our jet ski, we were able to see many dolphins. We kept our distance and let them have their space to catch fish and do their tricks. In the evening, we enjoyed eating smores, listening to live music and watching the amazing sunsets.
The resort is set in a great location with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. There are also many services to take you on tours. We had an amazing dolphin watching experience with Dolphin Landings Charter Boat Center. It was memorable from the nice lady that scheduled us to Captain Scott and his crew mate Jim. The morning sailboat cruise was very relaxing. I was skeptical that we would see dolphins. Boy was I wrong. We saw dolphins, we sailed with dolphins, we enjoyed the dolphins. Scott and Jim were great guides full of information and you could tell that they really enjoy sailing and taking people out to see dolphins. The service is very concerned about the environment and keeping the manatee and dolphins in the area happy. The Publix grocery store has a great selection of items you might need. We found a great burger/fish and chips spot called Boulevard Burgers. Cafe Soleil was at the top of our list for paninis and pastries. The ladies at Cafe Soleil recommended Buona Risotante which was just next door and has amazing Italian food. We also had dinner at the RumFish Grill and enjoyed watching the fish in their massive aquarium. There are many transportation options if you are not up for walking. We were able to book transportation to and from the airport through Shirley with the resort transportation service. Shirley goes above and beyond to make your stay great. Our drivers Jeff and Alan were very courteous and knowledgeable about the area. They offered great ideas on places to eat, visit and shop.
To say that we enjoyed our stay is an understatement. We are very much looking forward to visiting St. Pete's Beach again soon!

AWFUL! Please do not waste your points or money coming here. We woke up to workers drilling right under or room and when we asked to be moved they said they couldn’t move us cause we were bluegreen owners to my surprised cause you would think they would want to accommodate their gusts! They said that the workers should’ve been done with that side! Obviously someone dropped the ball, and when we call the bluegreen site manager, to our bad luck she was off and until today still waiting for a call back
