Bluewater Key RV Resort, Key West FL

Save yourself some money and stay a few miles down the road at Sugarloaf KOA where all dogs are welcomed, the pool and tiki bar are exceptional and open year round with live music. The marina is beautiful and the staff is just as nice to the pets as the humans. Have stayed at BlueWater the last 4 years until they have discrimination on our pet. Sugarloaf was are new spot this year and is 10xs nicer and cheaper. The lush landscaping and vibe are a whole lot more then bluewater will ever offer.

This was undoubtedly the most incredible RV resort we've stayed at.
We were in Site 52. The site has a large tiki hut with plenty of room for hanging out, cooking, and eating. We were able to kayak and snorkle from our site's private dock. The site was immaculate and very private.
We can't wait to go back again!

Site 52, premium waterfront. Expected so much but for what we paid what a let down. Our site needed so much improvement. Cabinet handles literally fell off as we tried to open the drawers! They were all rusted, tv was broke so another one was put on the fridge, water was nothing special so bring in the water, nothing to see. It’s just a boring bay. Don’t pay for this place, even though we seen our spot was the worst, none of them were worth the rates they charge! No showers or laundry, both didn’t work and were closed during our stay. We brought our paddle board and kayak so dock was nice.

Nice RV park. You have some privacy between lots. Each lot has some form of Tiki hut with amenities such as outdoor seating, ceiling fans, full refrigerator, etc.

We've come here for 5 years. The first year was awesome but gradually the rules have become more ridiculous over time. For example, we can't bring our dog because he is on the "breeds not allowed" list. And the owner of the resort seems to lack in basic customer service skills. This year we arrived and both shower houses were closed due to renovation. No notice was given to us. Yes, we're self contained but we like to give the motor home a break and shower in the shower house when parked for a time period. Given the price of these sites, a functional shower house should be a given. This will be our last year here. We're done with this place.

Spent a week, So amazing here at #74 lot. Peace and quiet with ocean front lot. Very clean and well kept and kids had amazing time

Such a beautiful place! We had our own personal tiki hut with TV, fireplace, and kitchenette, with our own personal dock. It was so beautiful & peaceful we hardly had to leave the resort to enjoy some rest and relaxation! It was a great place to celebrate our 40th anniversary! We were there for eight days, and the help was wonderful! Highly recommend!

Very detailed, very clean, bay sites swimming, snorkel and boat from site. Area to walk dogs not far from any site. Secure with gate. YOU MUST CHECK-IN from 1PM-4PM or you will not get in. They called us 24 hrs ahead of time to tell us about check-in time. Also note no store on premises. On bus line if you do not have a vehicle. Daily garbage pick-up 9AM-1PM at your site.

Absolutely loved this camp site! Its a gated Luxury RV park with your choice of bay front, canal front, or tropical. It is truly paradise! If you can book a site in this campground, DO IT! We have been to several campsite all over the place and this has truly topped it for us! We are excited to come back!

Very friendly staff! We had a tire blowout on the way down and weren’t going to make it by check in. I called and kept them updated and they were able to accommodate us after their “business” hours. They reassured us and made a really stressful situation a little easier. Beautiful location, amazing sites, clean and quiet. It was our first time to Key West and we will definitely be back!

This place was truly amazing, peaceful, and one of the best stays we have had in the US. As for as RV parks go - this one is #1. If I could give 100 stars I would. When we got there we had an escort to our lot, and helped us park our RV. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.
Our lot had a tiki hut with a tv, refrigerator, fan, and had a private dock with lights underwater. The whole site was decorated so nice, it could have been in a magazine. Everywhere in the keys is smoldering hot in the summer, except here - there was a fantastic breeze constantly and it felt so cool sitting out. In addition, there was an outdoor shower for cooling down. We spent all of our time on the chairs outside or on the tiki hut, and wish we could stay so much longer.

Just checked out yesterday and can’t say enough about Bluewater Key. We are new to RV’ing and we couldn’t have picked a better place to start our adventure though I believe we are now spoiled and no other park will live up to it. Staff is great and very helpful. All the amenities are well maintained. Make sure you have a vehicle because the park is not walking distance to anything which to us made it even more desirable. Stayed in a bay front site and fished, swam and snorkeled every day. At night it was just a short drive to all the restaurants Key West has to offer. We rented a Jeep from Key West Adventures and it was on site when we arrived and they picked it up after they left. Not cheap, but we’ll worth the money. As we were pulling out, we were already on line booking for next year but this time for two weeks.

This place is amazing! It is expensive, but well worth the treat! Stayed here for 1 week starting 2-21-2022. Loved it and didn't want to leave! We stayed in spot 4, I believe, on the canal side and was next to Jimmy who owns it. Amazing guitar player! We have a 44 ft 5th wheel and it fit in there just fine! Would highly recommend
this RV resort!

We had an excellent time at this beautiful RV resort. The Tiki patio was so fun. All people working here are friendly and helpful. Worth the money when you want to splurge a little. Hope to come back one day.

I have never written a review, but today is the first time I will. Unfortunately I had my Rv stolen so I had to cancel my reservation, there was no sympathies with these people. They want to charge me for a 1 night stay as a few which is not fair knowing that they are sold out and will get another rental. They blame everything on the owners of the property and they take no responsibility. I have stayed at this resort countless times. I will never go back no matter how beautiful it is I also own a Rv rental company and refer all my clients to this resort that also won’t happen anymore. Customer service is key especially with the economy we have coming being loyal to your customers is also key not saying to watch out for these people but defiantly make sure you don’t have a stolen Rv or emergency because these people don’t care about you in any way shape or form trust me it’s not about the money I just like to be treated fair
