Bluewater Outriggers reviews
17As a second home property owner in area since 2008, I can say I've been in the store over 200 times. Possible 1000 times. Always been able to get whatever I needed. Personnel are top notch at the check out counter. Bluewater does a good job serving the area with a very needed service. They say a reputation can takes years to be made and lost in a day. Well as a business owner myself I understand the balance needed in retail. I also understand the need to eat a loss when its a gray area. The head of sales showed me, some times customers opinions don't matter. Nutshell, bought waders (1 of 3 pair they had) assumed getting out of waders biz. Unknown and unadvertised it had a green price sticker. (apparently tent sale item- no returns) I did not know about. I asked for store credit, no can do, of course no refund (I shoulda know apparently) then in a quick assessment I had 1 chance to state how I felt. SO I said you keep the waders and the money, I just wont come back in this store (cause I could not win with my ignorance to Bluewater Policy) And the Head of sales said OKAY< Have a nice day. Very sad customer care. In his defense it has to be an order. Poor customer return policies. They need some competition. I hate this, I really do.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and was very quick to answer any and all questions I had and helped to point me in the right direction.
Very nice place, has a great selection. Fishing, camper accessories, fire arms, too much to think of it all. Very big variety of sporting goods. Even a great bait selection.
Always a treat to see all the new merchandise so beautifully displayed from clothes and jewelry to fishing equipment to crab traps, beach carts, kayaks, beach chairs, hats, sunglasses, and live shrimp and sunscreen. Plenty of parking and easy access, Street level entryway in the parking lot of the Piggly Wiggly you can’t miss it and it’s not to be missed! Open 7 days a week year round. Tell them Joan sent you!
Great place to pick up bait, and other gear friendly staff, only downfall is they need a bigger place its jammed packed, prices are fair with some good deals
Especially handy for outdoors activities! Got some nice sunglasses and was able to renew my fishing license! All in one spot!
Really good service. Even though they are usually busy it seems they enough staff to help you find what you need with a smile.
I love to go there, but they close entirely too early. SHOULD STAY OPEN TO ATLEAST 8: 00 PM. Would give 5 stars plus if they would stay open longer.
Great place to get all of your outdoor fun supplies, plus much more!
They also have a great variety of gifts, jewelry and clothing.
Busy, crowded like 75 people in line to check out. High prices. Staff is mixed. Some helpful and friendly, others outwardly uncaring. I think they dislike their bread and butter (tourists). They advertise OLD TOWN KAYAKS IN STOCK, yet 0 to be found after driving from Carrabelle. Mixed feelings here. I think Ill go again and see if it was just a bad day or their normal attitudes.
RODS. REEELS. TACKLE. CLOTHING. SHOES IF YOU FISH YPU MUST COME IN HERE. HUGE STORE. HATS. BOATING SUPPLIES. I LOVE IT HERE
This is a Penn store. They have Penn products all over their store. I've purchased 5 Penn rod/reels at this location. One of my rods failed and I returned it to the store for exchange. I was within the one year manufacturers warranty and I assumed they'd make the exchange. After confirming through their rewards program that I purchased it there, I was informed they would only do an exchange within the 30 day purchase window, therefore ignoring the manufacturers warranty and forcing me to deal with Penn. This is no way for tackle shop to operate and Mr. Duren should reconsider his procedures for managing his Penn customers. Penn has already sent another rod so the matter will be fixed soon. I'll take my remaining business to Howells in Panama City - they're far more "fisherman friendly" there! Beware the Bluewater!
Top notch service. Arrived @ 6: 58pm, 2 minutes to close as they were moving items inside and didn't hesitate to invite me in. Dale got me a couple dozen shrimp after he directed me to the pompano rigs. 5 minutes and out. Great store and a fisherman's paradise in St. Joe!
The customer service at BWO is amazing! Pedro and June in the store and the shipping department went above and beyond to ship me what i needed. They are awesome!
This place is Packed with inventory! It's a little hard to move around in the store especially whenever they have so many patrons or customers in the store. Which seems to be at all times of the day.
We have been coming to Bluewater for 10+ years. We have always had great service. We have enjoyed working with Pedro since he joined the company. Today he was able to get my name changed with the state for my fishing license. This has been attempted by others for the past 5 years, unsuccessfully, but Pedro was able to make it happen. I am eternally grateful.
Un-American. My husband is a disabled Vietnam Veteran Marine and he was denied the in-store discount they give to retired military. Oh boy. What a shame this store does not appreciate those who gave so much for their country. Shameful. And they were rude about it.
