Boat Owners Warehouse reviews
18The staff was extremely courteous and professional and they helped me with everything I needed.
Always a better deal than most anywhere else, and they have more parts, chemicals, you know.
Boat stuff.
What I grabbed today was about half the cost of the same product at West Marine.
Been a customer since they opened down on 84.
Great selection. Fair pricing. Found start, throttle cable, mooring light and power assembly, plus stainless steel screws in stock same day!
Why or how this place is still operating is astounding. Never have any items in stock and must special order- good luck. If the special order employee can be found be prepared to deal with a "gentleman" who is in desperate need of anger management and overall like coaching. Be sure to not only have make, model, serial number but also O. E. M part # and aftermarket part # for the item you're looking for since he hasn't a clue. Then you may have a slim chance of getting it ordered if not told to basically order it yourself.
Staff are bored and miserable- justifiably so. I highly recommend spending a couple extra dollars and going down the road to West Marine if you need an item asap. If not, save some money, and the aggravation of ultimately dealing with the parts employee who acts like he's court ordered to be there, and just buy it on Amazon.
Decently stocked store. Great for maintenance and the essential items one would need for boat ownership. Its about hit or miss with the floor staff on what type of attitude they'll have. On one occasion an older gent went above and beyond to get me what I needed to service my Yamaha 9.9. I'll update his name in this review next time I stop in.
The staff is great always ready and willing to help and if by some chance they don't have what your looking for I'm sure they can get it.
New boat owner. I've only been here twice. First time was good. They had everything I needed. A senior gentlemen was very helpful in finding me what I needed. The second time I had to restrain myself from giving the person who helped me a piece of my mind. Could not have been more rude and unprofessional. It wasn't the senior gentlemen. It was a middle aged man. Skinny. Gray hair. Very rude. It seemed like my questions weren't worth his time. He had a really annoyed attitude towards answering my questions. He pointed me in the right direction to what I needed, but didn't explain anything to me. He just threw stuff in my hands and said "It'll work" and walked away. This place has tons of stuff on the shelves and are reasonably priced, but service like what that guy provided ruined my experience. This establishment will be my last ditch effort to get what I need if everyone else is sold out. That guy was a straight up jerk.
The customer service was great. The costs are within the averages of boating supplies. We will shop again when needed. Good experience.
Very knowledgeable staff got me exactly what I needed with a little problem I had with my boat prices are very reasonable I will be back
Came in with a complicated (i thought) problem to which the staff pointed out a much simpler solution. The staff makes this place my first go to boat diy store, as they are all boat owners themselves. A wealth of knowledge you wind find in the typical chain of marine stores. Great selection and pricing.
Had the worse experience went to buy different products, got there and went to pay when they realized it was all wrongly placed and priced, was told they couldn’t do anything about it.
Went to this place multiple times over a few days. Always needing to get one more item or part or piece of equipment. They were able to help us in getting almost everything except for a couple of very unique parts 4 the boat. The staff is very helpful very friendly and always knew where the item was that we needed.
Great service and my husband was able to find everything he needed for his boat at a great price
I really love this place. I have been shopping here for years.and you will find expert advise and fantastic pricing. The location is great and parking is spacious. If you need expert parts advice for your outboard or your I/O. Jim is your go to guy. Soo if you need a great marine store.
Here ya gooo.
They wouldn't let me return a faulty float switch. I spend so much time and money at this store, I'm very surprised. The management knows who I am, I'm a frequent customer. If you guys can fix this I will gladly delete this review. Thankfully there are other boat stores in the area.
If you have a boat and a reasonable skill set and enjoy the DIY scene this is the only place to go. The staff are more than helpful and the selection is incredible compared with the big national companies.
Friendly staff and a good amount of inventory. My sales rep was very helpful and helped us find a lot of items.
Right around the corner and with pricing much better than the other local boating supply places.
