Boca Grande Vacations

Beautiful place, absolutely horrendous customer service. We have been coming to Boca for over 25 years and this past year, I have never been on the receiving end of such discourteous management. Painters were scheduled to work on the exterior of our building and no prior notice was given to us. We had four little ones who we did not want around paint fumes, were told they needed to leave our front door ajar to let paint dry (WHILE my 3 month old was napping inside) and had to navigate a giant constriction lift that took over our entire beach. They told us we could not use the handrails, which our two toddlers needed to go down the steps. Not to mention the noise! Several members of our party attempted to get in contact with the main office and never received any sort of response. What an embarrassment! I would definitely not recommend this office to anyone and if we stay at Boca a grand North again, we will be booking through VRBO. Save your money and your sanity and look elsewhere.

I went fishing today on my friend's boat, had a great time, caught 4 grouper 8-14 inches, threw them back for someone else to catch or maybe they'll grow up to be big groupers someday.

In June, we reserved the 10 Spyglass Alley rental for the week after Christmas. We got the original confirmation and they accepted our money. Starting in July I had several questions concerning the property and messaged & called numerous times, even left messages for them to call me with their answering service. I NEVER received any kind of response. I even tried to go back on AIRBnB and couldn't find this place even listed for rent anymore. Getting frantic, I contacted AIRBnB directly and they tried to contact them also without a response. Finally, with less than 2 months to go until our family reunion, having family flying in from as far as Alaska and not being able to get a confirmation that everything was still on (since the place is now listed for sell on Zillow) we decided to find a different place which was extremely difficult considering the size we needed. AIRBnB cancelled our reservation and refunded the entire amount paid since Boca Grande Vacations wouldn't respond at all to them or us. What a fiasco and an enormous amount of my time wasted when all it would have taken was one message or quick phone call! So in that process they lost a $12,000 booking. I own my own business and I would never treat anyone that way! If I could give a 0 star review, I definitely would!

We have vacationed in Boca Grande for over 30 years. Boca was known for the Worlds richest Tarpon tournament. If you love to fish then your in the right place for a variety of fish to catch as well as the Tarpon challenge. Boca Grande is a gem of Island that 'is accessed by an expensive toll bridge so take what you need so you won't have to pay it to often. Boca Grande offers a vast amount of accommodations and several quaint restaurants for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. There is a bicycle shop in town to rent bikes so you can explore the island on their bike path, and make sure to peddle thru Banyon street. Also, be sure to read up on the history of the Island before going so you can make the best time of your visit. The water is usually crystal clear and the sand is sugary white. Boca is the perfect get away spot!
