Bok Tower Gardens reviews
16 Expensive entrance ticket
Beautiful and well-maintained park
Love the view over hill.
We wont come back
it takes 50 mins driving from highway to the park; plus the expensive entrance ticket.
Definitely not worth the second visit.
Beautiful, peaceful, calming and serene. Wonderful children's play area also. Lots of walking space and trails. Food at the cafe was good. We had a panini and a wrap. Nice for those in wheelchair also.
This place is amazing! From the Bell Tower to the museum to the beautiful gardens it's a must see! It also have a gift shop and a restaurant. I went there with my granddaughter and we purchased a year pass which is definitely worth it we love to stroll around the gardens or visit the gift shop and the museum. They also have a restaurant.
I've been going here since I was a child, and I've watched the gardens grow over the years. It's the perfect place for a Sunday afternoon.
It was actually better than I thought it was going to be very relaxing and enjoying walking around the place.
The boyfriend and I enjoy hikes and nature, this place has it all and so much more, cant even finish all the trails in just one day, truly beautiful
A must go for garden fans. This garden has grown over the years to add a vegetable garden, the Pinewood Estate, a nice little cafe etc. Very clean facilities admission is around 15 dollars. There is a beautiful tower with carillons (bell like instruments). The music plays out over a large path of trails and there are camelias, azaleas, tropical plants and some rather exotic things too. The Victoria Water Lilies are some of my favorites.
The Pinewood Estate is a separate fee to go inside, but you can tour the grounds and I do encourage you to do this. The tour itself is quite nice too if you like rustic old estates.
There is a great children's area and paths that are paved and some that are mulch. You can also hike the surrounding area which has some pine upland areas.
Take some quarters to feed the fish surrounding the tower on top of the hill " mountain ". This is a high elevation for Florida and you do have some nice views looking out. The small cafe has some nice food and there is a little gift shop and garden shop.
Picnics are easy to do with many tables under the trees. A very good place to go with family of any age. Highly recommend this place.
Wonderful area to spend an afternoon walking around and enjoying scenery. The tower is a sight to behold. Definitely recommend if you're in the Lake Wales area.
We've been to Bok Tower numerous times over the years and it's always getting better. They had a bit of sidewalk construction going on yesterday, but nothing that takes away from the ability to enjoy the gardens and the tower. They are always improving the estates and gardens, and it is a pleasure to be there!
Great place for a picknick! Bring your own food packed in a cooler. And a blanket. Spend the whole day there. Whith kids and dogs.
Wonderful break away from theme parks and traffic. Even though it was overcast and cool it was still a beautiful experience. Highly recommended easy walking and the carillon was great for soothing music.
Bok Tower Gardens is always a fun place to go and enjoy the gardens. This is a very tranquil place to go. All trails are easily marked and there is facilities and modes of transport for those with handicaps.
The cafe on site is very good and fairly priced.

Very well kept gardens with a great variety of plant both water and land.
A must see when in the area.
Great day trip, easy walking trails and a children's garden area. Accessible for strollers. Picnic tables available, and a cafe on site. Lots of restrooms.
Beautiful, I'll be taking any family who visits here for sure. We missed the musician, so we'll be coming back again in the future for sure.
Cute gift museum lets you see a bit closer what the tower's made from, and a decent cafe (a little expensive, but worth it to maintain such a lovely premises)
An incredibly special Jewel in central Florida. A wonderful place to stop to unwind if on a long trip. Always feels magical.
