Had engine work done there and now noticing our hood is dented. It looks like from a hand closing it.
Our final bill was twice the amount they quoted me Very disappointing
This place has poor communication as well doubt we’ll be going back

My daughter and I were involved in a car accident & my car had to be towed to the nearest shop which by the grace of God happened to be Bonita Auto Center. The owner Jose Martinez is an extremely genuine & honest man. A really good person with endless knowledge & great skills in mechanics. He shows compassion for people like myself that showed up at his door just after a traumatic event. He is someone who is going to give you an honest & fair price for the excellent work him and his crew do at this shop. I wish I knew about his shop sooner, I’m so grateful to know about them now. Highly recommend.

Had phenomenally smooth and excellent service from these guys (Alex) from start to finish. I called with a shot starter and immediately received upfront and complete “out the door” pricing with no waffling. They underpromised saying it would be done the next day but the squeezed it in same day and was running smoothly when I picked it up. Also, the pricing for this particular service was about 15% cheaper than the other companies quoted me. I didn’t even have to come with the tow truck they handled it all for me till pickup. Highly recommend picking these kind and honest guys!

I went to Bonita auto center in a panic! My car was stuck in sand and after it was hauled out it was making noises! They took the time to put the car on the lift and remove all the sand and rocks that were inside the engine. I left 1 1/2 hrs later and car was running like new!

Checked out my Jeep and told me what was wrong and the cost. The part wasn't available. They barely charged me for the inspection. Honest and fair.

We recently had the pleasure of using this auto center to replace a bad tire. Everyone here was extremely professional and very friendly. I would highly recommend this shop for all auto repairs. Their prices were also competitive.

I read the reviews before coming here for the first time and it turns out that they have a high rating for a reason. They truly look out for the customer without taking advantage in any way. I was thankful for their honesty and transparency when it came to deciding to make repairs or not on my vehicle. When necessary, I will be using this business again.

Came in this morning with a a slow leak in tire and Alex took complete care of me! I didn’t have an appointment and I could tell they were busy so I wasn’t expecting to get in but he came out from behind the counter and helped me right away. Give this man a raise because he treated me with the utmost respect and was very professional. Great local business! Glad to have in the heart of Bonita. Thank you Alex!

I would not recommend going here unless you have an endless supply of money. I had a headlight out that needed replacement and I was unable to do so myself because I am simply not a mechanic. I took my vehicle to Bonita auto repair where the gentleman explained to me that in order to replace the bulb he would have to remove the bumper etc taking roughly 2-3 hours and costing $225. I said to him that everything online regarding my vehicle indicated the bulb could be easily replaced through the wheel well of the car but the man said the computer tells him it must be done the way he suggested. I declined his services and took my vehicle to O'Reilly auto parts (where I bought the bulb) and the kid there replaced my bulb through the wheel well in under 5 minutes for free. As someone who just moved to the area, I was hoping to find an honest mechanic but I am still searching. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the man at Bonita auto repair was friendly and made me aware of his price before just doing the work and charging me later.
