Neat spot but only a handful of parking spaces; try your luck here! Excellent place to look for shells

Nice beach, friendly people / vibes. Long, clean shoreline. Parking might take a while to find.

Still recovering from 2022 hurricane, with temporary structures in place. No parking until completed. PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS ONLY for residents of Bonita Bay community.

What's not to love about the beach? Still quite torn up from Hurricane Ian and then got slapped by another one while in recovery.
Sadly, it will take a very long time to recover here.

Went here for Father's day just to walk in the morning not for a beach day. The beach is not ready from hurricane Ian. Lots of trash, debris and generally felt unsafe. We kept our shoes on. Good for some shelling but I think it needs another year to recover from the storm.

Bonita Beach is back and better than ever! There is still some construction going on along Hickory Blvd but we were able to find a parking spot and watch a beautiful sunset.

Considering a major hurricane just hit, it was an amazing beach with tons of shells! I can't wait to go back down

Due to Hurricane Ian, the beach area has been desimated. The entire grounds along Bonita Beach Rd in this area looks like a war zone. Beach is closed with curfew for entering the area at dusk. So very tragic compared to the beauty of the area prior to the hurricane. It was truly heart wrenching to see the damage and loss to those who lived here. With a lot of work and prayers it will return.
