Bonsteel Park, Melbourne Beach FL

A small parking lot, quiet beach lots of fisherpeople. I wouldn't recommend it for children because of no lifeguarding and the strong undertow and waves, but fun to play in if youre careful.

There is a vault type toilet but omg feces, garbage, and a county employee using gas sitting in his air conditioned idling truck in the parking lot. Could you not hose it down daily?

There was ample parking available. The path to the beach was clean and easy. There is a nice boardwalk to the nearby Sanctuary building and some small hiking trails. The bathroom was a single stall permanent porta-potty. No shower or running water.

We thought the beach was beautiful and quiet. We spent hours there only to go home with sand flea bites all over my body. The bites are painful and itchy. Be ware of the sand fleas. I will avoid this stretch.

A tiny little beach area that’s off the beaten path. This is NOT a swimming beach as is full of sharks, jellyfish, quick drop down, and no life guards. In fact someone caught a 7 foot shark while I was there from shore! Took two large men to get it unhooked and back to the ocean safely. Great to go just sit in quiet though, and if you are there to check out the sanctuary building next door, or wonderful for fishing and seeing wildlife. My only true complaint really would be getting into the parking lot there was a giant water hole taking up the entire entrance. If your in a car that could be an issue.

This is a small parking lot that you can use if you need to get on the beach. Even during fourth of July weekend there was plenty of parking.

In today's search for the Milky Way, unfortunately, daylight savings time put me an hour behind. I set my alarm clock for 2: 30am, the same time the change took place. Well, that put me an hour behind. When I got to my location, an officer pulled up and told me I couldn't park there from dusk till dawn. So, down the road I went, until I found a location on the beach, where although the same rules were posted, there were people fishing so I figured if it was good for them, it was good for me.

I started taking photos with my Canon camera but couldn't tell if I was capturing the Milky Way or not. So I shot some photos with my f1.8 50mm, then my 3.5 18-55mm lens. I figured I would be able to see better once I got home while processing them. Well, I didn't see the Milky Way in any of those photos but did capture it with my Samsung S20 Ultra. Settings are f1.8,10s, 7mm, ISO1600. I did some post processing, and here it is. Still need to get better at processing, but before that, I need to get better using my DSLR.

This was called out as a Bortle 4 location, but there was a significant amount of light down south.

Awesome beach just north of the fishing pier and Sebastian inlet. Smooth crisp sand, good mix of shells washing up (nothing really big or good condition). Waves are slightly bigger here than up north honestly. Craziest thing was the overturned what I assume was a drug vessel that washed up.

Wonderful beach! The color of water is incredible. We saw dolphin fishand many lezard.

Its a beach park (always gets a 5 star nothing better then access to sand waves and TOTAL PEACE!)

This beach is terrible! There is garbage everywhere on this beach, dead fish the smell is absolutely terrible! They do have a bathroom BUT it’s small and hot + humid. They also have no showers so if you have kids, highly not suggested to go otherwise sand will be everywhere. To top everything off, the boardwalk to get there is falling apart. Wear shoes unless you want splinters! The way the environment is treated here is disgusting. If you plan on going prepare for the worst beach day ever.

Went here with my brother shore fishing. This beach was infested with biting bugs. Took almost a week for the bites to go away. Will not be back anytime soon.

I call this cinnamon beach, the most beautiful secluded beach we have ever been to. "WATCH out for hooks! " It's mainly used by fisherman. Also watchout for that first dip of sharp shells in certain locations after entering the water. Other than that you have one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We love this secret place.

Such a beautiful beach considering anything above Miami on the Atlantic side is leas than desirable comparatively speaking.

Nasty bathroom, no shower, fishermen threw dead shrimps and fish heads all over the beach. Good luck.

Great beach ️ to have a good outting at. Be advised no true bathrooms within proximity only a single latrine type outhouse that isn't quite clean at all times
