Booker Creek Park reviews
14It's a nice park in the Kenwood neighborhood. I wish people took parks for the small piece of nature that they are and would stop littering and vandalizing.
This is a nice, peaceful park. The flith problem comes from the children sent over unsupervised, they are the true nuisance of this park, they are rude, blatantly disrespectful & leave their trash all over the playground, while there is no responsible adult to be found, or even a mature teenager, that's the shame you experience at this park, not the homeless.
The Good: Overall this is a beautiful park for North Kenwood.
The not so good: Its a shame how dirty the tables are and the influx of homeless and transient people have littered this park with little to no care at all for cleaning up after themselves
It's great to get in walking or jogging. The lake is in the middle, providing a great view while you make your trips. This location also includes a fenced-in basketball court.
Other than the highway noise, nice and peaceful. Walking path around the lake and exercise equipment Plus a play area for the kids.
A lovely park. The lawn guy definitely cuts a lot of corners.or more accurately, doesn't cut!
Areas of grass near the trees only had one strip of grass mowed, leaving quite a bit of tall grass around alot of the park.
A couple pavilions with picnic tables were pretty much unusable due to the amount of bird droppings covering the tables and seats.
Other than that, it seemed to be a fairly clean n peaceful park.
Me and my wife was sitting there we had just pulled in an out of now where here's the police they stop us an a couple few more people some questions an boom out no where I was put in hand cuff an took to jail for being in the park after closing which was 10 minutes before
Pretty, but loaded with homeless people sprawled out on benches with many of the tables having burn marks etc.
Nice simple park with a large lake and paved walking trail around the park. Play ground for kids and AARP exercise area for adults. Limited parking with basic restrooms. 1.5 laps around the park lake is 1 mile.
This place is incredibly dirty. The playground always has trash and debris lying around. The open bathrooms bring a lot of traffic.
Great place has a great lake & nice walking path. Also work out area covered tables.and playground
Great neighborhood park, walk ways and paths, with benches along the way.
A Urban Oasis
Nice peaceful park! In a quiet calming location! Walk your dog exercise, take a run! Nice little spot for meditation!
Hidden gem tucked away off if 13th Ave North and the interstate 275. I go here several times a week to jog and use the outdoor gym which was donated by AARP. Really sturdy equipment and the park is always clean and not very crowded. It's my go to spot for peaceful grounding ñ, prayer and meditation.
