Borge Carlos MD, Sarasota FL

I have now been seeing Dr. Borge for 6 years, and I cannot say enough good things about this man. He has saved my life multiple times, and is incredibly knowledgeable and truly loves and cares for his patients.
I will say, he does not take any insurance, so he might be difficult to see if income is a problem.
But that aside, he cares about what he does and takes care of his patients even when he's going through his own. This man means everything to me, and I will recommend him to anyone who needs a psychiatrist!

I consider Dr. Borge a wonderfully knowledgeable friend. He's helped, and continues to work with me even though I'm many miles away. I highly recommend speaking with him if you or a loved one should have the need.

I informed Dr Borje, a very pleasant fellow, that I could not tolerate any medicine in the ZYPREXA family. Yet he went on to prescribe one. It attacked my thyroid and I gained 20 pounds in a matter of weeks.

I had the distinct honor & pleasure of bein one of THE GREAT DR. BORGE, MD i was ah very sick boy, Dr. Borge, worked his magic with me, brought me from ah bumblin idiot to ah now, quite well, productive (agian) happy, stable, humanbein, Dr. Borge mastered the visits, medicines & molded my life now as ive stated here in, i am & will always remain so greatful, endedted, thankful, appriciative, honored to have been so well takin care of by THE GREAT DR. BORGE

He's making so much money to basically kill people. I am severely harmed by his reckless practice, and I have now I met the families of two patients he's killed. He is VERY NICE and presents himself well, but that only makes him more dangerous.

I would not give this guy a rating he doesn't return phone i payed this man over 6 hundred dollars for 2 hours and cant get him to return a phone call i will find someone who can help my son

This doctor has to be the worst to visit almost $600 later no phone calls back no emails back will not call or change medicine that is not working did not prescribe the correct medicine for all three problems only addressed one issue

My beloved son started seeing Dr. Borge when he was young - ADHD COMBINATION TYPE SPOKEN HERE - He is now a very happy, successful adult with two degrees in Techie Nerdie Guru!

Dr. Borge is very nice and knowledgeable but highly over medicates!
He had my father on heavy medication that result in severe episodes despite me reaching out multiple times. My father was under his care for around 2 years and I watched his mental state decline rapidly even after expressing concern to Dr directly. Dispite multiple requests and letters of high concern, the Dr never reevaluated my father and failed to treat him properly and left him damaged by the medication.
I also was previously treated by this doctor and stopped seeing him after learning the medications I was prescribed are highly addictive although a simple anxiety medication.
Dr. Borge is not looking out for your best interest!

It would be 4 or 5 stars, especially if Lee was still working at the front desk.
The assistant Eileen just insulted me in a way that shows she has had absolutely no psychology or psychiatric training whatsoever. I think she needs to learn the legal rights of the patients and keep her personal opinions of medications to herself.
