Bowman's Beach reviews
11Good beach for shelling. It is 1/4 mile walk from parking lot. Parking is $5/hr in 2021. Beautiful sunsets in the evening.
Beautiful beach.family oriented. Lots of white sand shells and sunshine! Great place to spend a quiet day with family.nice public bathrooms!
Beautiful place to watch sunset and lots of shells on the beach. Going into water for long time might cause blisters due to sea larvae or something else.
Beautiful beach ️ I'm from MN and it took me 30 years to see the coast in Florida and it was magnificent.
A little bit of a walk from the parking lot to the beach, but plenty of wildlife to be seen while you walk. The water is warm with a wide sandbar so you can be at waist deep height for a while. Unobstructed ocean views and not very crowded.
We saw dophins swimming in the Gulf. They were a joy to watch. The beach is covered with shells of many kinds. The parking lot is big and close to beach but not visible from beach. Lots of vegetation. Lovely place
I enjoy everything about this beach, including the walk from the car to the beach. Like hitting a refresh button in life when I visit Bowman's beach.
This has been my favorite place to go to the beach and enjoy my time. It is rarely crowded and provides so much to see. Finding shells to take home and watching the bird, dolphins, and fish keeps my attention away from my phone and it is so refreshing to get away from screen time.
There is quite a long walk to get to the water, but it is not difficult and the path is wide. I will always want to spend my time here and relax like no other place in my life.
Plan to get there early and plan on a long walk. But it’s worth it! We love going here for great snorkeling, shelling, and seeing ocean creatures. They have nice clean bathrooms, showers, and changing areas. You can bring your own kayak and kayak to the end of the island. If you live in the area, you can buy an annual sticker to park as long as you want there.
Tons of shells for the shell enthusiast. Wasn't very populated because of the boat races at ft Meyers beach today
