Boyd's Key West Campground

It's very expensive for a location at the water's edge and it's not the vision of the sea that I had, it looks more like a lake that smells bad because a lot of waste floating around. Disappointing for the price, kind of a tourist trap.

6 years in a row coming to Boyd’s for the 4th of July and they never disappoint. The front desk staff is super friendly the amenities are very clean and the location is perfect! Will definitely continue to come to this campground!

Our home away from home when vacationing on the keys. Love this campground and the family we have found there. Everyone is so helpful and caring. The campground is definitely paradise and its facilities are always clean and there are plenty of activities for both rainy and sunny days. We really like that they have kayaks for rent there and there is no need to struggle having to get it up on a vehicle. After a long day of activities, we had the perfect evening eating in the secret garden and relaxing in the pool while watching tv. Looking forward to a third time stay when we are able to once again make our way there from Virginia <3

Waterfront camping, excellent location on Stock Island, great staff! One of our favorite campgrounds!

It is very clean and good. Camping ground way to small. And Rooster control is necessary. Otherwise be prepare to wake up at 4am everyday with them crowing. After 3 days you will be ready to put them on a pan

Very surprised about this campground, exceeded our expectations. Friendly staff, clean park and restrooms, and excellent pool! I plan to stay there again next time we’re in the Key West area.

Starting with the ladies in the office to the maintenance crew they were amazing! A special shout-out to Keith for his help with our truck and help showing us how to park our camper. The grounds are well maintained and the bathroom and shower facilities very clean. We would definitely recommend Boyd's.

Have stayed at Boyd’s several times and will be there again September 2023 if not before. Nice clean hot showers, refreshing swimming pool, friendly staff, lot are nice, little on the smaller side but like everyone else they want to maximize to accommodate. Good sized laundry areas, dumpsters located through the park. We bring bikes but end up renting a golf cart while we’re there. So easy to get around on. Really enjoy our time here.

This is a great place and awesome staff we had a family emergency someone in the hospital and they didn’t know when we had to check out they stayed in touch with us and extended our ninths to accommodate us on their RV sites helped us back up our fifth wheel with no problem kenny G was very professional, and his crew backing up our fifth wheel into our spot. Then he always came by to check on us. And the ladies at the office can say more they are fantastic thanks you Peggy, Lana, Steve and once again, Kenny G. Thanks again for going the extra mile for us while we went through our family incident

We arrived at night. We were accommodated without any problems. Places right next to the water with a good view.

It is May 29th 2023 for this review. It's Memorial Day weekend! As a Combat Marine, I Initiated planned and executed a weekend in Key West, only to be disappointed by both the City and our stay at Boyd's Campground. Last year I decided on a BUCKET LIST, to visit all the light houses in Florida open to the public. Key West was one of them. We came, we saw and then went to Boyd's to camp for the night.

takes the cake! We ended up leaving in the middle of the night, because they had NO RESPECT OR CURIOSITY for anyone around them! Called security to deal with the problem, yeah what a joke! Called the next day to file a complaint, manager said they would refund us our nights stay, never happened! As for my family and friends, I will never recommend them going to the Keys! SEMPER FI.

Staff was courteous, went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Camp sites were beautiful, restrooms were clean, very peaceful calming campground would highly recommend.

Wow what a beautiful spot near the water. And no highway noise! The rooster crowing early in the morning to awaken us was reminiscent of our old home. I was concerned when we first got there to check in. The kind lady in the middle (with glasses on) noticed I had been waiting and mouthed to me they’d be right with me (as the lady who was chatting with an employee) not a biggie until the employee left and she just sat there. Then the nice lady got her attention. She was very put out by my arrival. Made me giggle. Until she asked for another $300.00. I don’t require red carpet treatment but a little kindness goes a long way. Eh I suppose it should be chalked up to the snow birds I understand the traveling public - having been in that business for several years. But as stated kindness goes a long way and whatever issues you are going through put em on the back burner. Customer service is an integral part of this lifestyle. It’s nice to know the so far 8000 miles we’ve put on and several rv spots 21 thus far the tally of grumpy hosts is 2; welcoming hosts 19. Not a bad record!

We stayed here back in 2021 and they were amazing friendly and very helpful in activities to do around there and in there park. Trying really hard to get back down there. In session or out of session don’t matter. This is my favorite place to camp in the state of Florida hands down.

Definitely 5 for how much fun we had! We did a primitive campsite right on the water! FURY SNORKELING was THEE BEST!
