6I love this place. Really great views and great people. Thank you very much for all the great memory's.
It was pretty to drive by, but the lack of ability to park made it hard to enjoy fully. The community is very small, consists of basically a single lane road with homes with enough space for just one car. It would be nice if a small section of the greenery around the community could be made into 30 mins parking spots so you could walk over.
The old farts who live there don’t even let you go see the park, don’t bother trying
Interesting history of the Braden brothers home. Limited parking. Great views over the river from the pier
Do not recommend. Would have been a great little place to check out and learn the history of the area. But unfortunately, some of the residents of the trailer park there have nothing better to do than harass visitors. Maybe if you’re old and white you will blend in, if not be prepared to have the crotchety self-elected dictator of the area call the cops on you.
This is a very cool place, my grandfather told me about this building back in 1983…. It's too bad that it wasn't able to be restored to its original Glory
