I don't know maybe it's just me but my son took me there for my birthday. Because I had been wanting meat loaf. I have to say it was the worst I've had. Took 1 bite. And I did not care for the green beans at all and neither did he. He got the stroganoff and
he really liked it. I tried it, thought that was good. I did enjoy the fried green tomatoes. I would go back for that.

Went for my mom’s Birthday and service was very slow. Been here years ago same issue figured we would give it another try drinks were empty had to keep asking for refills. Took 50 minutes for our food!

The food was way over priced for what you get. The server was very nice but 50 dollars or more for a mediocre steak is ridiculous. They act like they have a Michelin star chef working there.

This place is one of the best in Ocala. We've tried the steak which was phenomenal; don't even bother asking for steak sauce because it's so flavorful you won't need it. Pow pow shrimp has a kick and is delicious. The crab cakes are the best I've ever had and the presentation was beautiful. The Mac and cheese is so good it'll make you cry. My husband had pork medallions and they were extremely good. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The service was so great every time even once when we went during a time restaurants are usually understaffed and they got a huge party unexpectedly. The hostess pitched in and got us drinks. Our wait was a little longer, but we saw the situation and understood completely and took the time to chat amongst ourselves. Our server Joann was excellent! Oh, and the coconut cream pie is homemade by the restaurant and is divine!

Awesome experience. Husband and I had a date night and were treated like family. I had the lobster risotto and my husband had the grouper. What a tasty meal! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely go back! Hostess, waiter, chef.all awesome! And they make everything from scratch! Lots of choices for my pescatarian diet!

I was excited to try this restaurant because the reviews seemed good. The restaurant had a boring and plain decor. For starters I had the onion soup, which was excellent and my husband liked the lobster bisque. I ordered the pork tenderloin, which was wrapped in rubbery bacon, which was a total turn-off. It came with mashed potatoes that were smothered in pepper and torched to a crisp - another turn-off. My husband got Chicken Parm with the risotto and he said his meal was good. The waiter told me the pork tenderloin was very good, perhaps she should have tried mine. I did tell our waiter what I just wrote here and I got a simple apology. Not planning on going back or recommending this place to anyone else.

Legitimately one of the best restaurants in town, and their stroganoff is one of the best meals you can get in Ocala. Portions are fair to plentiful. Everything really feels fresh, and it's a local small restaurant. What more could you ask for?

I love that it has been family owned since 2011! The children portions feed 3 young children. The French Braised onion soup is a must, and the macaroni and cheese (child's portion) was delicious! It fed a 5 year and 3 adults. Everything we ordered was delicious. I wish they'd start a chain and open one in Odessa, FL.

Had dinner with friends and was a great experience. Please allow time as they cook to order from scratch.

We selected this restaurant because it was a great meeting place for families to converge coming from different locations. But the experience far surpassed all expectations. The food was fantastic. The lobster bisque probably a bit creamier than expected but the onion soup was superb. You cannot beat the braised beef stroganoff for comfort food and great flavor. And the liver and onions entree.
The desserts (coconut cream pie, cheesecake, and especially the homemade ice creams!) were exceptional.
But it was the service that made the experience what it was. Cheri went above and beyond in every way, managing special requests and allergy concerns with patience and professionalism. Thank you for taking such good care of us! And for making this rare family reunion such a special one.

Alex was incredibly personable and did a fantastic job. Food was impeccable. We got the Poached Pear Salad, Prime Rib Quiche, and Braised Onion Soup. We plan to be back for dinner before leaving town.

We were greeted professionally with a smile. The service was quick. Our waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable. Our dinner was superb. I had the Salmon which melted right in your mouth. My husband had the stroganoff which was plentiful and tasty. Our guest had shrimp and a side salad. Overall it was a pleasure eating here despite the rain being an inconvenience.

A group of us went on a Sunday afternoon. Our waitress, Sherry, recommended a couple of dishes that ended up being ordered by the group. She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed but didn't hover.

We ordered the stroganoff, meatloaf, and fish and chips. Everything was delicious.

Always a wonderful experience here! Can't believe I only recently found out that the spectacular sous chef makes the ice cream from scratch and available by the pint for take home yummy time

We waited a considerable time for initial contact from a server, around 15 minutes. We ordered everything when we did finally get a server, it took an additional 10 minutes to bring out a glass of wine and a soda.
Food: Caprese Flatbread, delish, I would chop the tomatoes up but still, quite tasty.
I had French Onion Soup and a half order farm salad, soup was amazing, salad was a handful of greens with none of the listed ingredients (tomatoes, carrots, cucumber) but their ceaser dressing is very good so, eh.
Hubby's meal of Chicken Parmigiano with risotto fell flat on its face. It tasted like southern fried chicken with a little tiny dab of sauce, but did have a slice of fresh mozzarella.
The risotto tasted like nothing. Pablum. Someone forgot to season the risotto for sure. Even with salt and pepper (neither of us generally use either at the table) it was still tasteless goo.

Would try again but wasn't quite as good as hoped

We went here today for lunch. It was fantastic! We started with the onion fritters for an appetizer. They were very flavorful & crispy! The dipping sauces were also very good. I had the grouper fish & chips. The fish was very fresh & moist. My spouse had the shrimp & grits. I'm not a big fan of grits, but i have to say that i tried some & this dish was amazing! We finished the meal with coconut cream pie & coffee. The coffee was fresh brewed & had a nice flavor. The coconut cream pie was magnificent! I highly recommend any & all of these dishes. Give yourself a nice treat & stop in here for a meal. You won't regret it!
