Branchton Farms Produce reviews
14Wow incredible place to enjoy with all your family, great prices and very friendly staff i love it, you don’t need to go so far, we have great places around like this let’s support our locals business
Went for first time. It was not well kept like in the pictures on their Web. The fruit and vegetables stands were almost empty. It just looked abandoned. No one there to assist. We waited no one came out.
Great farm to take kids. My 4 year son had a great fun & he enjoyed fully despite the cold weather around this time.
I read the reviews before I brought my 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old and I wish I would've heeded the bad reviews. I was told over the phone that it's $5 for kids 3 and older but got charged for my older child anyway. $20 for myself, two kids, and my senior mom. The ladies let us visit the play area for "free", but this place is really not cool. There was a dying crippled chicken in a cage up front then a few others with very few feathers. The ponies are in a tiny enclosure and I could see one's ribs clearly. The playground has extremely old equipment from like the 90's. Yes the produce looks hideous, some of it is rotting. On the bright side, my daughter loved feeding the goats and sheep and she enjoyed the zipline. Her smile made a disappointing trip worthwhile.
Kids had a good time. Small but affordable. They didn't have beverages for the guests to buy which was unfortunate. Very hot out.
Sad to say but the place seemed that has decayed significantly. Produce was in bad shape, some rotten. Eggs were fresh.
The produce is not very appealing. The petting zoo is great though. The cows are friendly, especially the one with the bump on its shoulders. I didn't know cows can be so nice. Feeding fee is included in the admissions. Small zoo that shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes.
Gone down hill. Veggies and fruits dried out watermelon mushy
Hardly nothing there. Dont take food stamps. New cashier very nice.
Great experience for children to feed and pet the animals. We also got some fresh eggs. Definitely plan to visit again.
My 9 year old and I had lots of gun visiting and feeding the animals. We arent too big on touching as we have allergies but they were behind fences so we could see them, feed them, but not be immersed with them, so it worked out perfectly for us. There were cute goats, sheep, a donkey, big cows/bulls, ponies, ducks, chickens, roosters (a really friendly one who cockadoodldoo-ed and showed us around, pigs, and nice workers- cucumber and apple slices to feed the animals. Animals all had nice living accomodations and seemed happy and nice. AND a nice little fruit/veggie market attached too.
I really like their very fresh and local produce. The prices are less than grocery stores. My granddaughter enjoyed the petting animals before the pandemic. Nice place.
Small selection of low quality fruits and vegetables.
The cashier really seemed not engaged and the conversation with his customers.
Love the petting zoo! The animals are all friendly and clean. The staff is super nice! Everything is enclosed so it's safe for little ones and runners.
Website says open until 5. Arrived a few minutes before 4 had to wait in line, tried to pay for our kids to go into petting zoo and were told they closed at 4. Now leaving with two crying kids despite them having people in the zoo area.
